You mean the Coliseum, not the Rose Bowl. USC and the Coliseum are at the very northern edge of South Central LA, one of the worst neighborhoods in the U.S. They're about 5 miles from Watts. The Rose Bowl is in a very affluent neighborhood in northwestern Pasadena. Yes this. I think they talk about it once a week on the Lex and Terry show. I just always pictured USC being in a very nice area even though I knew about it. If USC remains the same as I remember it when I lived in LA, the campus itself is indeed very nice. But it's like a walled-off facility. Pretty strong security at the gates. UCLA, on the other hand, is open, in a very exclusive area (Westwood....close to Beverly Hills), and is absolutely beautiful. What can I say, Soul? Your memory is impeccable, you remember correctly. Cool. You can never tell. The 1990's are almost ancient history now :)
