    Bad move. That broadcast team is horrible. The Score's incessant pimping of their crappy Sox broadcast is nauseating. It sucks, and they don't get it.

    I don't understand how the Trojans don't win the national championship every year. Look at the players they've got. They lost 7 to first day picks and they've still got this kind of roster?

    I feel like it's the NCAA tourney all over again. Every time they went to a "regional" game, it dropped to SD Yeah, I feel like the first thing you notice when you get HD is how poorly it is implemented. It's really sad.

    I thought all that talk was a little overblown. It's not like the Buckeyes have 2 good options at RB. All Carrol has to do is prepare for Beanie, and if he's not there.......bonus. It was never going to be a situation like, good running QB vs. good pocket passer, or something such as that.

    my next door neighbor is a lunatic OSU fan and he HATES Boekman todd boeckman is definitely a "game manager" which means "can't play football" More or less. OSU's D would need to create takeaways for the Buckeyes to have a chance, I think.

    It could be an all-hype no delivery type situation. i have a feeling it won't be a bad game. osu played a great game against texas at the shoe and won the next year in austin. they just get completely pantsed in championship games. michigan looked bad today. i'll say it again, if penn state can't beat them this year, it's never gonna happen. Michigan is certified crap. They might be looking at a season so bad it could hurt recruiting. I'm not sure those alumni are ready for this (I know a few Michigan Alumni -- god love 'em but they have no clue what it's like to be bad).

    I'm definitely pulling for the Brewers to win one of two tomorrow. The Phillies scare me only a little less than Arizona does. The Phillies scare me much more than Arizona does right now, considering we won't be seeing Arizona until 2009. Surely Zona is done now.

    Actually he is hitting just like he used to. He had one fluke season in the middle of his peak years. He's well past that peak and will most likely remain well below his peak numbers going forward. Why is this so hard for people to understand/accept? He's probably capable of multiple hot streaks that could last a month or more at a time. But DLee 2005 is never coming back, and he's most likely never going to look anything like that again. This truth makes me sad.

    Right now I'm hearing much more talk from Brewerland about the WC than about the division. Lots of "oh crap we might not even make the playoffs at all!" talk.

    It's pretty crafty, but I'd stop short of calling it genius. They see an opportunity and they're trying to make the most of it. I'm trying to think of ways it could backfire. How about if the Crew & Phils continue losing and the Stros wind up sewing up the WC before the end game? Then they would be denying themselves the rest at a time when they would value it more than easy wins.

    Wasn't Canning originally "out" too, and now he's back in? So let me see here: Canning was out *no wait he's really back in*. Cuban was the highest bidder *oops wait he really isn't.* Sounds like a lot of people who don't really know what is going on.

    Figures. Maybe the fact that they're slumping right now will work in the Phils' favor.

    In a close game, I never turn on the radio during the game if I haven't already been listening. It's bad mojo to shift things like that. In close games (especially the 9th) I usually turn the TV off or turn the channel and peek on the progress of the inning on my laptop or pace all over the house. My Wife thinks I'm crazy..... You are crazy. So am I 8-)

    Honestly, how is that any different than if the Cubs and Astros played in the last series of the season and they already clinched everything? I guess it's not, except that there's no possibility of the entire series being the last series of the year this year. The scenario of the Cubs/Stros having a makeup game after the season is a possibility.
