  1. Oh man that was beautiful
  2. Great scramble. The wide open secondary has to be helped by the defense believing he’ll hit a deep throw.
  3. Took all of 1 minute. 😞
  4. Oy no idea why he would lollipop that throw.
  5. Man I hate hearing team X is terrible at Y but today they look great.
  6. Awesome. These 15 plays can take a jump off a high bridge.
  7. Yikes. Not how we want to start.
  8. I feel like there’s a team that peaks too early every year. Hopefully that’s the Vikings.

    NFL Week 6

Darnold’s newfound success is so damning for the Jets. That org destroys players, including franchise QBs. I think even Belichick would fail there.
  10. It’s difficult (probably impossible) for me to defend using a pick on him. I’m surprised by the numbers because the highlights I saw from the Rams game he was having a great day. If he’s not ranking high in key categories then that speaks for itself.
  11. He was able to count on 4 relatively easy wins most years between the Bears and Lions. Always nice. But at the end of the day the Jets are just terrible, they ruined Darnold who looks decent with MIN, and now they are hoping for an old man to save them from themselves.
  12. It was quite marvelous.
  13. This is incredible to me. Incredible in a good way.
  14. Fields is turning back into Fields. I saw the same Bears QB from last year basically. It’s worth noting Dallas has key injuries on defense so it’s not like he had Parsons to deal with. I wish him good things but he doesn’t look any different / better to me right now.
  15. Save a few teams I’ve always felt like the Packers over perform and it drives me nuts. But credit to the organization- they consistently get the wins one way or another.
  16. Yeah but this is year 3 of the leadership and coaching regime. I’m not just giving everyone a pass on 2 failed seasons because they drafted a new QB. It’s not that I disagree with you but at what point do we hold people responsible for failure?
  17. I have to live and work alongside them every day so that's probably got something to do with it. Things were much better when the Packers beat the Bears but it equaled out during baseball season. Yes I'm bitter.
  18. I just have a visceral reaction to a division winner getting a one-game shot at advancing. WC teams? I have no problem with one-and-done. Win your division if you want more. Sidenote: watching the Brewers habitually fail early in the playoffs makes me happy.
  19. Win your division then lose two at home? You deserve to be bounced. At least there is a series albeit a short one. If there are better ideas I’d gladly take them but it’s better than the one-and-done that we had. Thank God the Stros are out.
  20. I just came across this. Moore on the play: "I'll take that blame," Moore said, via Kevin Fishbain. "I went back out wide. I just wasn't on the same page with Caleb. Now I know. I'll take that. ... He thought I was doing one thing and I messed it up. That was really it. I told him he was cool." Sounds like what you are saying is the case.
  21. Rose colored glasses, but I feel like he's going to connect on a deep throw TD or two and that's going to break the flood gates open. One can only hope. The plays are there to be made, just have to get the ball to them.
  22. It was a cannon blast, yeah. Which is weird because Caleb puts good touch on other passes.
  23. Probably not able to watch the whole thing but I fast forwarded through just to see what I landed on and was surprised at the not-so-kind words on Moore's level of effort, which he says is happening regularly. Happens around the 20 minute mark. Caleb's having enough trouble hitting deep throws without having to deal with a WR who isn't getting down the field as fast as he can and perhaps not looking for the ball. He was wide open for a TD there.
  24. I hope he makes the HOF now. It was always a joke that he wasn’t there. RIP. I’m just old enough to remember some of The Big Red Machine as a kid.
