  1. So Lovie is really no better at calling his D than Babich, and certainly no better at coaching. Marinelli is a myth. Pretty easy to look like a genius when you have hall of famers like Sapp making you look good. It's easy to see the players have tuned out the coaching message. In my experience once that happens there's no going back. Only a coaching change will fix it. I humbly submit to the McCaskeys that while Angelo brought in Jay Cutler, he's absolutely the wrong GM to guide this franchise through the Cutler era.
  2. Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo *gasp* Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
  3. Why the hell do I hear clapping from bear fans on a 2 yard completion on 3rd and 15?!?! You morons. Put down the fuggin 15th Beer you've had and pay attention!!
  4. It's so frustrating to see the absolute mess this defense has become. My god, will anyone step up and [expletive] DO something!?!?
  5. Marinelli. The Bears' best offseason acquisition. Hahahahahh. Look at these holes. Keep in mind, this is the 32nd rushing team in the NFL. Dead last.
  6. Holy living crap where did that pass blocking come from? They actually looked like a team for a change on that play. Bout damn time.
  7. I'm soooooo ready to blow this whole thing up.
  8. Hey look another blitz that failed miserably. Imagine that.
  9. Difficult to imagine a worse opening few minutes.
  10. I've just about had enough of Tommie Harris, gentlemen.
  11. True but the Cards' playoff berth was assured due to a division full of crap. When I look at the landscape of teams ahead of us, and combine that with our remaining schedule, it makes me feel very dubious about our chances to make it.
  12. Yeah, that's how I felt about CHI/CLE last week. There's no way to feel good about the game. You either dominate (in which case it's what you were supposed to do and means nothing), or you don't (in which case you feel horrible that your team can't even dominate a tomato can).
  13. Even though there's still plenty of football to be played, I look around the NFC and see many teams that I feel are just much better than this club. So that takes some of the wind out of my sails. I think I'm like many others here -- I'm wanting changes, and not seeing where the big improvements will come from without it.
  14. No question. But I've always thought the badmouthing of him on here was over the top at times.
  15. Some good matchups @ noon tomorrow: BAL/CIN MIA/NE AZ/CHI So glad I'm not stuck watching that GB/TB turd.
  16. The Bears may not be who I thought they were, but unfortunately they're turning into who I hoped they wouldn't be.
  17. Not over yet but right now it's looking like a letdown for Oregon vs Stanford.
  18. You're being too modest with those 3 easy ones. Those are 3 "cannot possibly lose or else hell freezes over" games. Packers should make each of those teams look like college-level opponents.
  19. Sheesh. That's a pretty tough series of blows to the secondary.
  20. That's THE GAME. Will they air Denny afterwards too?
  21. It's early for the Cavs. They're more worried about having enough left in the tank for May. Not so much worried about November. That's how I read it anyway. Good win for the Bulls, but not really that bad a loss for the Cavs.
  22. 7-9 or 8-8 wouldn't be a reason to consider keeping this coaching staff. That's mediocrity, for 3 straight years. Not something you want to hitch your wagon to.
  23. Black is white. Up is down. Evil triumphs in the end. Yankees win.
  24. Yeah, I don't think it's very likely either. But the thought of extended Packer mediocrity makes me feel tingly all over.
