  1. I'm not sure I will watch. Maybe Thursday night is a good night for a movie. This team has crushed the football passion right out of me. Thanks Lovie.
  2. So, Lovie gets paid until 2011, and Angelo until 2013. Get ready for the long, cold winter of Bear fans' discontent. You know, it's funny. After the Super Bowl, it was obvious that someone in the Bears' organization was reluctant to pay all that cash for Lovie. But the whole world was screaming at the Bears to pay him. At the time, I admit it: I wanted him re signed too. Whoever that person was must have known something. A little inkling perhaps, that the good times with Lovie Smith weren't likely to last. Right about now I find myself wishing the Bears didn't make that long term investment.
  3. Geauxd
  4. haha nice
  5. A quick TD and the Saints are right back in it.
  6. A few weeks ago Lovie's excuse was that it's really November and December that counts. Well, it's November now and you still suck. What will be your excuse now, Lovie?
  7. Driving now but yeah, @Qwest too.
  8. Panthers showing up today.
  9. I'm not sure why you would say this. The Bears aren't putting this loss behind them. And they aren't putting the Cincy loss behind them either. These are damning losses that will hang around Lovie's neck as proof that his team isn't good enough, and his position as head coach is going to end. You don't wash this kind of blood off your hands unless you go on a huge winning streak, and frankly that's just not happening.
  10. Yeah, wonderful. Geaux this, and Geaux that for several months. Can't wait.
  11. I guess it's interesting the Bears and Packers are both struggling with many of the same issues. Both teams have very, very big problems up front and while you can cover that for awhile, eventually it usually ends up killing you as the season wears on.
  12. Wow. Lost to the Bucs. Surely McCarthy must finally be on the hotseat.
  13. I think the Bears, but it is surely close.
  14. I guess we can take a small bit of solace in knowing that win or lose, the Packers proved they are also a joke today.
  15. It's fitting that the comeback falls short because a player quits. A common refrain for this year surely must be the lack of urgency and extra effort, which is something I feel is attributed to a culture of contentment that has infected this team like a disease. And the only cure is radical surgery.
  16. I presume Warner will come back in, the Cards will put their normal Defense back in, and that will be the end of that...
  17. He shredded us in 06 so I guess it wouldn't be that much of a surprise
  18. I really want to hear some moron Bear fan try to pin THIS one on Cutler in some way, shape, or form. Someone will try it.
  19. I find it amusing that this is the best the bears have run the screen pass in forever.
  20. It's telling of one thing: all those teams show up in the Super Bowl or close much more consistently than the Bears. When the Bears are winners there's plenty of support. But too often they are a disappointment and that's your reason why other teams have stronger brands.
  21. Whatever, Ed. You and your crew are well known as the most incompetent in football. But again, whatever.
  22. The more games we lose, the better that Denver pick winds up being too. Holy crap it's just raining negative junk right now.
  23. Get ready for mega frustration as the Bears ride out Lovies contract and the Bears continue to suck more & more over the next few years. I woul commit ritual suicide myself but I'll be damned if I'll let these clowns off that easy. I'm going to be here, booing this crap every step of the way and making damn sure this [expletive] [expletive] is thrown right back in their damn faces until changes are made.
  24. Even with all those injuries the Colts are still shutting out the Texans. Better coaching = better results.
  25. Cutler deserves very little blame for this catastrophe of a football team, or for what is happening in this game.
