  1. The talent is there. One good suggestion would be: start using it.
  2. Also, from what I understand, Hossa's return is imminent. This team is the entirety of Chicago sports right now.
  3. Yeah. I really don't want to, but I might have to shell out for that NHL package so I don't miss games like last night's.
  4. The overthrows are likely an indication of a loss of confidence, and confusion. Even a "franchise QB" needs to have coaches that keep a player on target, and correct any difficulties he might be going through. I really doubt the Bears are providing any of that coaching. They haven't done it ever for their QBs, I find it hard to believe they are suddenly doing it now. He's all alone, in a sea of boos and marginal teammates, with nobody but Donovan McNabb to give him an encouraging word after the game.
  5. I suspect the Bears would ruin ANY quarterback they brought in here.
  6. I have a feeling that they simply won't. Or anyone else. I just can't see this team paying double for coaching. They'll try to ride it out for another year.
  7. Franchise QBs also usually have a good coaching staff. Yesterday, Cutler has to share a large part of the blame. But I maintain nobody is offering anything to the kid in terms of how to improve his game, or how to get out of ruts, etc. etc.
  8. One last gasp. See how it goes.
  9. Close to the end now. Almost over. Damn. This sucks doesn't it.
  10. Oh my God. Jay. Dude.
  11. Unless they just false start the game away lol
  12. Seems like they played softer that drive, like they were giving the FG. Then they can't tighten up in the red zone.
  13. Damn it. Worried.
  14. I feel like there's a giant hammer above my head.
  15. Bears need to capitalize on this. How much more can Tillman do?
  16. This is going to make me stay up too late only to be disappointed, isn't it.
  17. Jackson is frightening. Seems like he's so fast you could just run a bomb every play.
  18. That's a sampling of how good Jay should be. Beautiful throw and under pressure too.
  19. Yep. Didn't last long. Knew something of that nature would eventually happen.
  20. So what do you want Chicago, 5 INT Cutler or overthrow Cutler? Cuz tonight it's overthrow Cutler.
  21. Gould is the player who I feel rises above this mess the most. Pretty weird to actually have the lead. I'm guessing it won't last long though.
  22. Yeah, big fat guys who are strong and don't move well. He doesn't have a chance against a fast DE like Collinsworth said. I guess it must be my imagination seeing other centers block all kinds of players then.
  23. Don't we pay Olin to block people?
  24. I guess I'd rather see red zone FGs than red zone INTs. I don't think the Bears can punch it in from inside the 20, so it might need to be a longer score if they get a TD at all. The neutering of Jay Cutler has begun.
