  1. I like this movie. They look like prospects that have some promise to me. I'm more glad about getting rid of Miles because right now I don't know if Fox or the prospects we got in return will turn out to be the better value. So for now I'm on board with this one. Miles had to go. Miles should never have been here in the first place.
  2. Which is tragic if true. If anyone who makes decisions for this ridiculous franchise saw ANYTHING yesterday that made them think Lovie/Turner/Toub/Angelo should stay, I'd like to know what it was. And then I'd like five minutes alone with them and a lead pipe. I expect Lovie to make statements that are more about the entire team's perspective, rather than just his. If he really thinks it's a big win just because it saved his job for a little bit, then that's just another reason for me why he should be gone. And you're right, they played poorly yesterday and almost let an atrocious football team tie the ballgame late. There's nothing in this win that should change anyone's mind about Lovie, or Ron Turner, or anything else.
  3. Heard a Lovie quote this morning on the radio. talking about how they were coming off a big win and now get a rematch against their rivals.... How is a home win over STL a big win? Please tell me you are embellishing and he didn't really say that.
  4. I heard this morning that Weis has expressed interest in the Bears OC position if it becomes available. I do not know any more details, as it was a Score update and I was busy trying to keep my truck from sliding off the road in the snow. But that's the first time I have heard Weis reciprocating interest from his side of the equation. edit: I see this has also been posted in the Notre Dame Weis firing thread.
  5. The whistle had blown, so by the time the Saints player recovered it, the Skins player had already quit playing. I don't see how they can possibly just hand it to the Saints after the whistle like that. I don't really care, but that seems like a totally botched review/call by the refs.
  6. One just feels like the Saints will figure out how to win this one after the Skins epic fail.
  7. LOL
  8. LOL Skins.
  9. Zorn had a look on his face of pure bewilderment. How can you possibly miss an extra point level FG to put the game away. I mean really.
  10. Cue the Lovie BS: "Any win in the NFL is a good win..."
  11. Well I think it's over but with these clowns? Can't bring myself to trust in anything at all when it comes to this team.
  12. Shaffer's false start could tie this game. Nice job dude. Picked the perfect time for that little brain fart didn't you.
  13. Battle of the inept.
  14. Refs in the NFL remain bad.
  15. Wow the rams are just so bad. And they're still in it.
  16. I'm not wishing permanent damage, but it would be niceif for some reason Ron Turner and his "playcalls" couldn't make it to the game. At this point I'd welcome anyone else.
  17. Yeah, a back with any burst at all goes for 10 yards there.
  18. Impotent and Cowardly football, brought to you by your 2009 Chicago Bears.
  19. Yeah, this storyline is all too familiar for this club.
  20. Now they are grinding the hell out of us. This sucks.
  21. Bears are determined to let the Rams back in the game. Looks like they're succeeding.
  22. WUT DUH FRAK?!?
  23. Thank you for the supremely poor ball security.
  24. Schaub hurt? Yea, though I do not know how bad.
  25. I can't see how Ogun can call himself an NFL DE letting Boller slip loose so easily. That's crap.
