Good thing he has been inactive most of the season. Idiots. We could see in preseason he had the ability to make plays. All goes back to clueless coaches, just many of our other problems. They haven't the first idea which players are good and which aren't.

Haha...more non-Bears fans rooting for the Bears this week than actual Bears fans are. It's better for us if we just lose out. I can't root against them, but I'm terrified if they win it will cause our fearless leaders to subject Beardom to another season of Lovie and his clown posse.

Didn't we have the same thing happen with the home-and-home with the Wings last year? The one including the WC game? I recall we were closing in on them and they just slammed the door in our face. That must be how Nashville feels. Look, they're a scrappy team. But they are like nearly every other team in the league. Seriously outmatched against the Hawks and needing to play a great game to stay close and have a chance to win. Looks like I'm going to miss Tuesday's game on account of work, but really looking forward to that NJ game. I'm seriously considering buying a single ticket and heading to Chicago for that Devils game. Singles are available.

Heimerdinger would seem to make sense, given our situation. There's a match there between he & Cutler too, which is a bonus. If you aren't firing Jerry, then you need to let him make one more hire, and in that case I'm sure the Bears would prefer it not be an expensive one. I'd rather go with a bigger name, but I won't complain about Heimerdinger if that's the way they decide to go.
