I give credit to Q for making that move. Buff wasn't performing very well where he was, then we lost Campbell. He turned two bad situations into one good one (at least for now), by making a single move that I'm not sure every NHL coach would have made.

His numbers have improved every season. Though I don't know where he tops out. If he tops out where he is right now, I'd call him decent. I wouldn't call him good -- it's probably just semantics though. I'd give him a look if I was a GM, put it that way.

In general I stop watching any sport where one team becomes so dominant that they never lose anymore. However, in the case of women's BB, I wasn't watching anyway.

Just have to hope Silva falls outside of the "for the most part" group. I hope he isn't given all kinds of opportunity to fail over & over again though, because he may very well take advantage of all those opportunities.

Broncos have been holding out for a first rounder for him. Yeah, I see that. Maybe I'm wrong, but I feel like his off the field issues have been significant enough to raise the risk of trading for him enough to take him below first rounder territory.

Maddux win does not matter. Game 5 win over Atlanta, first playoff series win in franchise history, should be in its place Agreed. Maddux was a Brave for most of his career, so 300 is rather meaningless in such a storied franchise. Yes. That playoff series win means a ton more than Maddux winning 300.

I'm hoping it won't be Anderson, except situationally. But I suppose that could be a hollow hope. Well it's gonna be Anderson or Idonije. I believe Izzy would be a better every down option, with Anderson situationally rushing the passer.

I'm wondering what reason I would have to care about the regular season now, or even the conference tourneys. Is it to find out if the 7th, 8th, and 9th best teams in a conference will "make it"? Sorry, that's not enough for me to pick up the remote. -

Since they elected not to tell anyone they would need to release a quality player to afford Peppers, I've got to wonder what other surprises might be coming. Certainly Alex had no inkling; he was the most vocal Bear in support of the Peppers signing, both before and after, that I heard.

Just now you're convinced? How many shutouts does he have? Yes, he's shown plenty of times that he can do it. The problem has been all season that just as things start to look good for him taking the job, he falls apart. I'm saying that, when you watch what he did last night especially during the 2 man adv, it's clear that he has ability. Consistency? Might be another story. But that point has been clear all year, and the consistency issue has been the question. OK.....I guess I'm restating it then.
