Yeah. Even when the hangman's noose is being fitted over his neck in his current job, Lovie doesn't want to take a solid opportunity to start again. I would have bolted for UT in a second. That's a solid college job. SEC. Tons of national TV coverage. The biggest reason I thought it might have the possibility of being realistic was job security. Lovie has none in Chicago, he'd have plenty in Knoxville. He must really think he can win next year in Chicago. Yeah. That's what I would have thought, as well. It's hard to predict 2010, but I'm bracing for the worst. Since I don't feel Lovie is the right coach to carry this team forward, I'm not sure I even want him to succeed. For the Bears the priority must be Jay Cutler. I just cannot see Lovie being the right guy to move him and the offense forward. I think he would have been a good fit in Tennessee. But no, he just cuts it off. Doesn't sound like he has a real good perspective right now to me.
