    Now that they’re scoring I’d sure like to have those free outs back, I can say that.

    I thought the 2nd pickoff was a replay.

    Runner on 3rd nobody out. He issues two walks. Should be bases loaded nobody out. Instead it’s nobody on and 3 outs. Thats craziness.

    Good half inning regardless but you’ve got a pitcher who can’t find the plate and just handing him free outs.

    I agree. Personally I don’t discount them though. But they’ll be good the rest of the way.

    This sucks but the fact is we will end June with the division lead. Time to just put it behind you and play great baseball again.

    Feeling much better now. Couple shutouts is exactly what we needed.

    Am I wrong to think maybe the Cubs were playing a little over their heads? I’m not saying they’ll regress all the way back down to mediocrity but we were just feasting on teams. It wasn’t even a half season’s worth of games.

    I think you lifted those numbers right before the Brewers clinched their win today. They’re 3.5 back, St Louis is 4.5

    I guess we are in the doldrums now. Need to shake out of it because the upcoming schedule isn’t easy and the teams behind us aren’t stopping.

    Just loved the 3 run jack and all the celebration in St Louis. Then…weak grounder and game over.
