  1. Just don’t get any more base runners on. At the end of the day I’ll feel better.
  2. Had a feeling we wouldn’t fare any better than other teams playing the Brewers. They’re just overall good and firing on all cylinders.
  3. It was “Jump”, Harry, Ryno, WGN every afternoon. We all know how it ended but that was a magic Summer I’ll never forget. I was at the Mets doubleheader where the Cubs took the divisional lead. Both games.
  4. In my sports life he was to baseball what Payton was to football and Jordan was to basketball. Just devastating to hear this. 65? F.U. Cancer.
  5. Apparently they left the offense behind at some point too.
  6. Well now I’m in a bad mood regardless of this game. Ryno- RIP to a great Cub
  7. Can’t figure out how the Crew finds players like Vaughn. There’s no doubt at all, he’ll play well and then tank out as soon as he leaves.
  8. They have pitching up the wazoo, if we’re gonna beat them it has to be quality ABs
  9. I wonder if this will factor into how hard Jed goes at making a deadline trade.
  10. I mean, this guy’s curveball is insane. He was an odd man out in Milwaukee?
  11. In real life I’m extremely level-headed, ask anyone.
  12. I feel like the big thing we can agree on is that nobody knows what will happen by the end of the season. We don’t even know what the playoff rosters will be for each team yet.
  13. Yeah I saw these recent posts and immediately thought umm….Cardinals anyone??
  14. Brewers are good at everything, bad at nothing, and great at nothing. My sense is that adds up to a lot of fun regular season baseball and a lot of early playoff exits. Perhaps the best approach is to be the #1 WC team and don’t worry about them winning the division. WC teams can and do sometimes have better post seasons.
  15. Just to prepare everyone the Brewers have Woodruff going so the Mariners will struggle to even score.
  16. Looks like the Brewers will not lose another game…ever.
  17. Tigers are on a serious losing binge right now. Given what the Crew are doing out West I’d say the two best teams in baseball are in the NL Central, at least right now.
