  1. REALLY need Tucker to live up to it right now.
  2. Man, that pitch wasn’t bad luck. I can still smell the reek in my living room.
  3. I don’t disagree. What happened to Suzuki, holy crap.
  4. Offense isn’t going to bail out a BP implosion. Sucks, but root cause isn’t the O today.
  5. He sure as heck let 2 of those 4 runs on base!
  6. What a joke. And why can’t I type swear words.
  7. I don’t think the level of competition is tough enough to be a real obstacle for them.
  8. Get this clown out of the game before it’s too late.
  9. It’s the Nats so yeah, I would not be surprised if they flick their pinky and sweep.
  10. Vaughn is maddening. He’s exactly the kind of player somehow the Brewers get what they need from, even though objectively he’s not good. It’s like what do they know that no one else does?
  11. I’d rather be overjoyed at the unexpected resigning of Tucker than disappointed with losing him, when the scales seem heavily weighted towards losing him anyway.
  12. So the Cubs essentially behaved like the Brewers once again. They picked up a couple players that are sort of OK, “sounds good” guys but nothing splashy. Then they hope they can get a great Aug/Sept out of them without trading away the farm. So is Castro this year’s Mark Canha?
  13. But. Not a surprise. Can’t even count the days like this that we’ve had as Chicago sports fans.
  14. It should be clear to everyone the Brewers trade will turn up golden,
  15. Rode the coat tails. Now his angel is gone and he’s exposed.
  16. Jed strategically got himself extended right before the deal making began.
  17. Jed made his two BP moves. He wanted a great deal to materialize for a starter but it isn’t going to. He’s OK with it because he has 2 starters coming back. Maybe I’m wrong, but that seems likely to me.
  18. Love how Shota bounced back and the Cubs got to Peralta. Hanging 5 ER’s on him was cathartic
  19. A whole bunch of teams have struggled beating the Crew lately. I hoped we might rise above that, but the fact that we haven't, in their building, isn't really a surprise.
  20. This is probably just my Chicago sports fan doom mindset but there are so many teams vying for help this year. It’s a seller’s market. Cubs have a couple guys working their way back from injury. It just feels like there won’t be a big trade. Smaller trade or two maybe.
  21. Think I’m going to go write those negative online reviews I’ve been putting off.
