    Not too long ago the Cubs were 6 games up in the division. The Cubs are 4.5 up in the WC. I think we’re at a crossroads right now. The team is clearly pressing at the plate. They could either right the ship and at least play well enough to make the playoffs. But it’s also possible they just tank out and fade away. They have the day off today before a tough series. It’s time for these guys to figure out what they were doing right before and get back to that.

    Hopefully the Brewers collapse happens in the playoffs like usual.

    Just hate seeing a guy on the ground grabbing at his leg in preseason.

    I felt the same about Loveland but it was only a few plays .

    I wouldn’t be surprised if Keenum is the #2 just because of his experience in the NFL.

    TD catch was a big league play. Agree though. Kind of blah. Not liking the defense so far. Better pressure as the half wore on.

    This is a game where I went to look at the start time and it's being played. Good to see Suzuki get one.

    If Tucker doesn’t finish strong I wouldn’t reward him for that with a blockbuster deal. Can’t just disappear for a half season and expect top dollar. That would make the decision pretty easy for me.

    I know that’s on brand for PCA but the league has adjusted to him and if he doesn’t adjust back it’s not going to be pretty.
