  1. My God it's really gonna happen.
  2. They should let the big horse run more...
  3. Unfortunately for Seahawks fans, they don't get to take the field. Their dogcrap team does. The fact that they make noise probably does affect some teams, but NO is used to a loud environment. I really don't think they'd be all that affected by it, compared to some teams. I think really poor weather would help, but now that I'm watching Seattle I'm remembering that they absolutely suck running the ball too.
  4. Alright Lions. Here's your chance. In 500 words or less, why my team deserves to be moved to the NFC West.
  5. I'm sensing this game isn't garnering a great deal of interest among the NSBB faithful.
  6. ...nm
  7. The biggest statement NO could make in that game would be to score about 45 points in the first half and rest their starters. Might be the first time in history. That happened between Jacksonville/Denver a long time ago. Ahh, I didn't remember that.
  8. We're approaching Saved by Zero status with those ads. Yes. And on the Sunday before I go back to work I don't want to be reminded over & over that Christmas is gone. It's like someone reminding me of my hangover the morning after a night out. Just let me be.

  10. Uh-oh. Whitehurst looked a little like Whitehurst there. Hyundai has crossed from amusing-annoying to full-on annoying now.
  11. Carroll the genius. Rams suck so bad we'll just play the backup and still win.
  12. http://www.wired.com/news/images/full/uecker_f.jpg
  13. Especially if the Rams call THAT play on 3rd down a whole bunch more times.
  14. Rams' DBs touch a receiver, gets called. Packers molest all Bear receivers all game, no call.
  15. You're expecting Pete Carroll to make sense. Coming into this game, I think I could name a grand total of three people on the Seahawks' roster. Of course Whitehurst then throws a huge long pass. So I guess Carroll isn't "feeling like they need Hasselbeck" just yet :)
  16. This is strange. Hasselbeck is ready to go, but won't be playing unless the Seahawks feel they need him. WUT? This game is for all the marbles. How about you need him from the opening kickoff forward?
  17. Come on, why even ask Dungy and Harrison for their Saints/NFC West Champ pick? Oh yes, Mr. Patrick, I think the Rams will STEP UP and beat the Saints!!
  18. Nice, thanks. Hope you enjoyed winning at Stanford, Mr. Luck. Things gonna be a tad bit different in Carolina. Everybody was saying the same thing about Sam Bradford. That's what happens when you're drafted by the first team in the draft... Although I get what you're saying. Good luck against the Falcons, Saints, and Bucs twice a year. To be fair, things would have been different for Bradford this year than it was at Oklahoma, but.... POOF! You play in the NFC West! Playoff chances abound, even when you're under .500 the last game of the year!
  19. Man what a disaster of a season for San Diego.
  20. Just show Johnny the game tape and tell him, "yes, as you suspected, you can't sleepwalk through games and be good."

  22. this I say go Rams because I think they would at least have some chance, albeit very small, to upset the Saints. Put the Saints in a cold, rainy Seattle and I think it would be about as likely the Seahawks pull off the miracle. Saints would run all their usual stuff against the Rams in their dome. No use kidding ourselves, we're probably looking at something like 45-13 Saints either way.
  23. They weren't necessarily experimenting. They were just dropping back and trying to get the ball downfield. This is the first week the Bears passed more than run since the bye, according to CSN, and it was drastically in favor of passing (39-20). That is the kind of difference we saw in September and October. There were probably more 7 step drops today than in the previous 8 games combined Yes. It felt like the Giants game again, which was the last time we saw this before Martz made his adjustments. Everyone knows those plays like the back of their hands, but they also can't execute the pass protection needed for them. Maybe Martz just wanted to re-convince himself that he can't do this in the playoffs. But I didn't appreciate seeing Cutler hung out there like that.
  24. I didn't see the Bears offense experimenting. I saw them running pretty vanilla, like they did very early in the year. The defense played as per usual, and held a great offense to 7 points. Basically we played one side of the ball today.
  25. We'll see how they fare next week. I think it will be a good game. But the Eagles take it.
