    It feels like Cubs are the cure for every bad pitcher in the league. If you really suck, don’t worry. The Cubs will make you look good.

    It’s tough when you open against a quality opponent. Win and your season is shot out of a gun, lose and it’s a weight on your back the rest of the way. That was a good football game to watch.

    That was fun. Man was he pissed.. On replay it looked like he was right and the hitter went around. Another ump even came over and started yelling at him too.

    Here’s the league wide since the AS break: AVG: .297 OBP: .310 SLG: .459 OPS: .769 Looks like the Cubs are swinging for the fences, getting big hits to carry their OPS, but not as patient as the league.

    I’m about ready to say that it is not a slump, but rather what we experienced earlier in the year was a streak.

    I know we beat these guys 2/3 in their building (barring an uncharacteristic Sunday comeback) but it feels like it was a struggle and keep in mind this opponent is running 300+ in the red run diff.
