  1. Shocked at how off they felt before the game, or shocked at how they got the crap beat out of them and then decided to make excuses later? I don't know. But I can tell you my last trip across the Atlantic took me 1 day to adjust. I really think any more than that means you're doing something wrong.
  2. Hey everyone, did you know the Cubs and Theo have been talking? Just found out!
  3. I was going to say, google news has articles reporting this from hours ago. And it's probably twice-baked crap from way early in the negotiations.
  4. Advantage Bears.
  5. Also, Grossman's continued spasms of badness. I tried to support this guy for years, but it's time to definitively put an end to his career. Yes Rex, we know you believe in yourself. The problem is when you start to suck it's a neverending tide of INTs. You're done. Start polishing up your resume, pal. Your post NFL career is calling.
  6. I'm kind of curious about Caldwell. While it's a horrible thing to lose Peyton Manning obviously, they've got losses to some bad teams (Cincy, KC). Yes, losing your stud QB is a bad blow, but it also shines a light on some things. I'm wondering what the feeling might be in Indy -- do you have a coach, or just a guy who took the reins of a good situation and rode it for awhile? Personally, I lean towards the latter. There's really not much evidence this guy can actually coach anything. He basically rode the Manning train, and now that it's gone, he can't cobble together any wins at all.
  7. On the OLine: Lance Louis @ RT -- this seemed to work. I didn't expect to see him there.
  8. Well well well.... I must say, I didn't expect such a drubbing. Either the Vikings are exceptionally bad or we are figuring a few things out. Maybe a little of both is true. This was a fun night. I needed this! Thanks Bears :)
  9. You just ask them if they would be open to going, and respect each person's decision, and then bake that into your negotiating position. I don't see what is so odd about it. Exactly. Ask anyone he wants to come with him if they'd want to come with him, then tell the Red Sox how many. I'm sure at some point names would have to be involved prior to the deal being reached. What I *do* think is that some of these delays might be due to people checking with families and such, behind the scenes. Of course we'll never know because that's private, and rightfully so. But the reality is, people need to take stock of where they want to be, where their families want to be, etc.....when something like this is about to happen.
  10. Not sure why McNabb would see the field again, barring injury. Ponder's a 1st round pick. That's a 1-5 ballclub on the road to nowhere. Got to find out what you just paid for.
  11. Ponder seems to toss a lot of lobs off his back foot.....just an initial impression.
  12. And so the McNabb era in Minnesota (and his career?) ends.
  13. You just ask them if they would be open to going, and respect each person's decision, and then bake that into your negotiating position. I don't see what is so odd about it.
  14. Simply ridiculous that this Cardinals team will wind up in the World Series. Again it happens.
  15. "Pay the Man" I've got figure out how to get the Chicago public to call my boss and say these words about me.
  16. Take out Peppers. Now they've got to drop back. It's Pirahnas in a tank full of meat.
  17. The one thing I need here is for us to stop flirting with turnovers. That's really all.
  18. God that never gets old. :clapping:
  19. Yeah, see? That's the kind of thing that can help a lead bleed away.
  20. I had a toddler singing in my ear so I'm uncertain: did they really replay that full play and talk about it without mentioning the hold? Affirmative. Just talked about McNabb getting away.
  21. I appreciate Peppers' toughness, but I am starting to agree that he shouldn't come out in the 2nd half. The only thing is, with all the monster comebacks that have happened this year I'd sure hate to see this one slip back into a competitive game.
  22. Yep, indeed they are.
