Then the Bears created 2 problems at the same time by promoting Tice: they moved Tice away from OL coaching where he was at least decent, and moved him in as OC where he's incompetent.

Joe Girardi's phone just rang and he answered it. He didn't have any plans this weekend. How many players made the all star team and then DFA'd all in the same season/offseason. -
With Carimi we are pretty much forced to give him more time. There's just too many other pieces on that line that need to be fixed. If he doesn't show improvement next year, it's a disaster. Hard to believe. I was overjoyed at that pick. Sure, he didn't project as a LT but if Gabe Carimi isn't a solid OL pick then I just don't know what to say. He should have been just fine.

I love this. Kaepernick is just another lucky strike by a team, I guess. Yet the Bears can't find anything at QB without sacrificing 2 entire drafts.

A decent drive would have slowed things down and gotten the D a breather. It all ties together. I know, but any kind of dropback and the QB is dead. I'm actually glad Cutler's not playing in this game. It's not worth it. To hell with this team for not building an OLine.

I'm not sure it woud that much different with Cutler. Their O is shredding the Bears D, beyond belief.

I can't believe it, but I'm starting to eye the channel changer and we are barely out of the 1st quarter. This isn't even a game.

I think this illustrates that Smith is quite mediocre. The 9ers have it set up to be relatively successful with a number of QBs, not necessarily a great one.

That's what I thought. It seemed rather convenient for the 9ers to wait until essentially the last minute to announce Smith is not playing.
