We were never sure if Orton had showered that day. He might not have been completely sober. And he still played better in '05 than the stupid 3-headed Krenzel/Quinn/Hutchinson monster the year before.

Orton isn't really interested in playing at this point. He's been talking retirement. Apparently the Cowboys were fining him and everything -- for missing all the offseason activities. Yeah, he's not coming back.

Stuff like this makes me hate us not having a Hard Knocks even more I think we would discover that nobody likes Forte. Why In that video it looks like he was by himself the whole time, while most of the others were with some teammates. *shrugs* They like him well enough when he's scoring a TD.

I know McCown happened last year, but that's not likely most times. Like most good passing teams the Bears are one hit on Cutler away from really struggling.

Let's go through some of the most ridiculous examples, if they really intend to go by franchise. The Thunder get one because they are technically the same franchise that won a single championship, 36 years ago, half a country away (SuperSonics). Atlanta Hawks get one because of the St. Louis Hawks in 1958. Kings get one because of the Rochester Royals in 1951.

The defense, or the team? I could easily see Tucker keeping his job with the defense failing to reach the top 15. If the team itself finishes in the bottom half there could be problems for a lot more coaches. Yes, i was maybe 60% on him being fired this offseason so I don't really know what they will do

Yes, there's a history. I'm definitely not saying he had much to work with, once Melton went down and then Briggs too. It was going to suck. But the Epic fail, the collapse of historic proportions -- some of that has to come back on him, too. Mostly I just don't think he's more than a position coach. He might even be a pretty good one, I don't know. I'd like to see someone else @ DC.

You're convinced Tucker is a clown based on the poor play of a defense that at times had to start Landon Cohen, Shea McClellin at DE, Khaseem Greene, Zack Bowman, Isaiah Frey (nickel), Chris Conte and Major Wright? No. I'm convinced he's a clown in spite of that. No imagination, didn't get really any player to outperform. Why would you put Conte and Wright on that list, by the way? Those guys had their most catastrophic seasons under Tucker. It's not all because of the DLine. Maybe some or even most, but regardless -- their careers likely ended under this guy.

Still can't believe they didn't fire Tucker. Still so worried about the defense getting the lowest possible production from potential talent, rather than the opposite. I'm convinced he's a clown and I'm desperate to be proven wrong. Because if not, it's another 8-8 season maybe 9-7. At some point you've got to be able to stop someone in the 4th quarter.

Not getting the negativity over this Bulls offseason. Unless we landed Melo, getting Gasol and (finally) Mirotic coming over was probably the best scenario. None of the other big FA's were going to come here, and given the deal Melo signed, it's probably surprising he was even considering the Bulls. If McDermott can provide an outside shot, I don't understand why this isn't a much better scoring team assuming healthy Rose. But then again, I'm not very knowledgable about basketball and I don't really follow these guys all the time. I have more hope this year than I did last year. Obviously I'll be cringing every time Rose tries to make a cut to get by someone.

I don't see it either, but it would be in the best interests of Melo to sign in Chicago. Even though the Bulls wouldn't be favorites IMO, there's always injuries that can happen to change the mix a little. It's still a long road ahead, and you would want to be in the best position to capitalize.

i doubt they would bother with it if they didn't think it would work ultimately, they need to fix his mechanics. he's got that kerry wood elbow thing going in his rotation Hmmm. Does that really happen with a guy who has 7 years of pro baseball under his belt, working on #8? I guess he is only 25. -

He goes from The Decision to firing an essay from Brazil. It's OK LeBron. Everyone makes mistakes. Congrats Cleveland. I really didn't see this day coming back when LeBron left for Miami. Mostly I'm just overjoyed that Miami's terrible fans don't get to see championship basketball that they don't deserve. But I'm also happy for a downtrodden city that could really use some upside right now.
