    No but at some point the Brewers will quit sucking again. When do they play the Cubs? I think its actually pretty soon. They'll get healthy against us and it will be adios muchachos, if it isn't over by the time the series begins anyway. This club is as dead as dead can be. I've never seen such a soul-less team.

    I cringe every time a ball heads for the dirt, because you know Barrett's not going to get his body in front of the ball. It's like Russian Roulette, only with baseballs.

    so have jorge posada and mike piazza Thanks, I was waiting for someone to bring that up. Posada's and Piazza's teams had a lot more chance of making the postseason without them than the Cubs have with Barrett. Even though those two aren't /weren't the smartest or best defensive catchers, their numbers were better than Barrett's to justify their bad defense and poor plays. Can't say the same for Barrett. I don't disagree. Many times Barrett's been entirely passable, IMHO. He's just playing like an extra special bonehead lately.

    At this point this isnt on Lou. Believe me Lou is to blame for some things, but the baserunning isnt one of them. These guys are making little league mistakes. I just think we have a team of dumbasses. If he gets the credit when they win... Oh he'll definitely get the blame if they don't stop acting like 5 year olds on the basepads. But as for whether it's really his fault, that's open to question.

    Lee is the only damn ballplayer on this team. How do you wear that Cub uniform, watch Lee play every day, and not realize how pathetically poor you are playing? Come on dammit, have some standards.

    Comcast leading back in from commercial with Lou talking about baserunning. I think even the producers of the TV coverage are sick of this crap.

    I'm probably going to go ahead and buy MLB.TV... is Premium worth the extra money? well it seemed like half the time they would just tell me i couldn't watch the game unless i bought premium... so i eventually got it. now i can't even watch the game having bought it. What about the picture quality? And what did Barrett/DeRosa do that was so dumb?? Derosa on 2nd grounder to SS and he decides to try for 3rd. Gets thrown out by a mile, and Barret was picked off 2nd. Yeah, Barrett was picked off 2nd.....by the freaking catcher. That's beyond little league. Freaking 6 year olds playing T-Ball are better than that.

    I just don't know any more. Is this Lou's fault? I mean he's on TV before the game telling these idiots to stop being, well, IDIOTS on the basepads. Then look. It's even worse! What the hell do we have to do to get little league quality play from these fools?!?
