I'd give real money not to have to see those stupid Cialis, Levitra, an Viagra commercials anymore -- or not to have to change the channel to avoid them.
Speaking of cornhole, has anyone played cornhole before? I swear that game is taking over the world. I see it everywhere now. I guess not, because I've never heard of it....what exactly is cornhole? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cornhole I had no idea what it was, but when I look there I see that I have indeed played it. Fun game. I see people playing this one when tailgating quite a bit.
I was until I changed it to WGN For some reason I don't get WGN on DirectTV right now. Did you use to? I'm getting it on DirectTV right now (channel 307!). Just switched to DirectTV last week so I could get ExtraInnings. Can't believe I don't get WGN. That's lame. We had WGN back in the late 80's when there was only like 20 cable stations. You sure you don't get it? It's channel 307 and most DirectTV packages carry it. YAY DeRosa! Olemiss, you might want to check your satellite setup. Sometimes if you don't have all the transponders configured you won't see some channels. WGN is on all DirecTV packages, channel 307.
There's a 6-pack of Rolling Rock under there......just in case. Are you suggesting that David Wells drinks? I'm thinking maybe I need to start. Ram K's. Christ give me some JD.
Yay, leadoff walk. Does it seem to everyone else that the Cubs just don't play the same game as everyone else? All the other teams play baseball. We play "hit the first pitch" - ball.
Is it really bad luck to give up long balls? Usually you hear of luck being involved when you're talking about balls in play. But HR, BB and K are the things a pitcher controls. right, but Curt Schilling has always been fairly HR-prone. Yesterday Hill gave up 6 hits and 4 of them left the park - that doesn't happen very often. He may end up being a HR-prone pitcher because of a flyball tendancy, but if he can limit the number of hits and walks he gives up, he can still be a very effective pitcher. It happens more often if you don't have overpowering stuff and you flake out on your location at certain times during the ballgame. Wouldn't you say that's a fair statement? I think that's what is happening here. Hill can be just fine. But he's a control/offspeed pitcher who is simply going to need to keep his focus and locate better. Especially the fastball, which isn't all that special.
It just doesn't pass the smell test. Cramps? We've all been watching baseball a long time, who ever heard of this? If it looks like an excuse and sounds like an excuse... My vote is, it's an excuse.
Kevin Mchale, Best GM in Sports wow, that deal would have sucked in retrospect Wow, that pretty much confirms McHale's a poor GM. Did he ever blow that one. The T-Wolves are sinking like the Titanic, I wonder how much longer before McHale gets his pink slip?
LH's act is tired and old. My vote goes for him exercising restraint and not visiting threads where he knows damn well the only thing he has to contribute is a bunch of B.S. nobody wants to hear. If he can't do that, then too bad, he deserves what he gets. BTW, Sammy with #10! Woot!
by releasing him. Unless it's written down in black & white, any handshake type side deal would certainly carry with it the strong inference that Miller doesn't suck bones. Once that happens, all bets are off. Time to release Miller to move on with his life.
Yep. Shipping Oden and Durant out west is very nice. I wonder what Portland's asking price for Randolph will now be. Nocioni and a next years 1st. It's perplexing, because his skills would be of use to us, but after watching him a little he seems like a terrible fit for Pax/Skiles. I never saw him play team basketball once, or even attempt to.
Cue the Boston whining. 5,4,3,2..... MwahahahAHAHAH. On a good note for the Bulls, both Oden & Durant are heading West, leaving us as still the best young, developing team in the East for the forseeable future.
