    Sheesh. Need to do better from now on, Sean. Anyone else freaking out over the game in NY? 8 runs in the top of the 2nd off Clemens, then the Sox give up 8 runs in the bottom!!

    Just listened to some Milwaukee sports radio, and they don't seem concerned. The feeling I was getting is that they believe we'll cool down soon, and they'll get hotter, thus the Crew will wind up winning the division. They had one Brewer player on who said basically exactly that. Sorry I missed his name.

    God, I'm gonna get so blasted for this. Kendall, last 7 days: BA OBP SLG OPS .350 .435 .450 .885 I'm not a Kendall fan but he is doing much better recently. Obviously he won't keep this up, but what if he settles in at a reasonable rate of offensive production?

    This is really all I'm saying. It's now Aug. 2nd, 2 months to go. I understand being happy with what we have accomplished and all, but it won't mean squat unless we can close the deal.

    He did have hole in his swing IIRC, couldn't hit much inside. Pitchers exploited that plenty. I always like Choi, but was happy about the trade. Too bad he didn't catch on anywhere else. Is he playing back in Japan or Korea?

    Is that solely based on the story about his Jewish ex-girlfriend, or is there more to it? There have been rumblings that he fought in the crusades. I think it was the children's crusade. I would imagine if Church tried that in a locker room full of vets like Lee, Floyd, Soriano, and ARam.......he would find himself getting the verbal smackdown awfully quick.

    Lou downplaying the first place thing in his post-game. I agree with him. It's nice, but there's 2 months left to the season and I want our guys concentrating on winning their games, not on what the Brewers are doing.
