They are notorious for making excuses for their team. I think it comes from an ingrained attempt to keep fans in the seats. It also kills them to give credit to the other team. Earlier in the year they were more respectful of the Cubs than most, but now that it's crunch time they're in full-on homer mode. You should hear that dude they have on the post game show. WOW.

It's fantastic. But it should be noted that there are a few ENTIRE SECTIONS in the lower level that were empty all game. I know they have had good attendance this year and lots of sellouts. So WTF, Brewer fan??? In the grand scheme of things they really don't have a huge fan base and will probably always struggle to fill that park during the week.

Don't worry about those guys. Cub curse crap doesn't apply to the Cards anyway. Their winning & losing actually makes sense. And they aren't blowing a 5 run lead in the 9th because as crappy as they are they have a few arms in that BP.

Advantage Cubs for sure. Agreed. Brewers came into this series unable to accept 2 of 3. They're also unable to accept 2 of 4 from SD, but it's (hopefully!!) going to happen too. They play SD tomorrow. Against Peavy no less, correct? Come on SD! i thought Peavy is going today?yea, peavy went today and on't go again unless the last game of the season is do or die. Yeah I got my days screwed up. For some reason I was thinking it's Tuesday today :oops:
