  1. Brian and UK both PMd me their picks. Vikings select Trae Waynes, CB, Michigan State Browns select Danny Shelton, DT, Washington Vanilla Ice and the Saints are now on the clock.
  2. Vanilla Ice PM'd me his pick. Falcons select Shane Ray, DE/OLB, Missouri. Giants and jersey are on the clock.
  3. Still not a terrible scenario for you though - Shane Ray and Kevin White are still on the board. I'd probably draft Dupree or Gregory. I could definitely see Dupree. I think Gregory is dropping like a rock though - not so much because he tested positive, but because he tested positive at the combine. I think he goes after all the other high end edge rushers, so probably mid to late 1st.
  4. I hope they never stop drafting QBs. I'd want about 3 first round picks plus a bit more in this year's draft if the Titans were moving down to 12. I doubt the Browns would give up enough to get it done. That said, if they had made the obvious choice last year - drafting Teddy Bridgewater - they wouldn't be in this situation.
  5. My biggest concern with White is that there's not enough difference in upside between the two. White has a bigger upside, but Cooper's likely to be really, really good too. And that's fine, until you consider the bust factor is quite high for White, while relatively low for the much more polished Cooper. That said, if the Titans traded down to the lower half of the top 10, I'd be perfectly happy with either WR. My preference is Cooper, though.
  6. My guess, though, is that something surprising happens - Titans trade down or somebody takes a player out of left field, specifically.
  7. Still not a terrible scenario for you though - Shane Ray and Kevin White are still on the board.
  8. This is a tough pick - I really have no idea at this point which way the Titans will go. Lots of opinions that they love Mariota and will take him, lots of opinions that Mariota just isn't a good fit for Whiz and they'll go Leonard Williams. My personal view is they should take Mariota, but my guess is they'll take Williams. So, the selection at #2 is Leonard Williams, DL, USC The Jaguars could go with a WR, but they took some upside guys last year, so that's not as pressing a concern this season. Williams would be the easy pick had he not gone at 2 and Mariota is obviously not an option here. Bradley loves his edge rushers, though, and I really like Fowler out of the group. So, the selection at #3 is Dante Fowler Jr., DE/LB, Florida The Raiders and soccer10k are now on the clock.
  9. It's underway! I've PM'd Vanilla Ice.
  10. Got both of you. 2 teams left: Chiefs Redskins
  11. They're yours. Teams left: Pats Bills Broncos Chiefs Redskins
  12. We won't get that far I think. I guess I'd double or triple any team as needed Name off one or two and I'll set you up.
  13. We won't get that far I think. I guess I'd double or triple any team as needed My guess is we'll do well to get 2 rounds in.
  14. Ok, I went ahead and double and tripled up everybody who requested it. If anybody wants more teams, go ahead and let me know I guess. If anybody else who hasn't taken a team yet wants to, it's not too late. Let me know and I'll drop a couple of the teams I took if I need to. I guess we'll shoot for starting Saturday and try to get at least the first round in before the draft. Raisin - I didn't assign you anybody yet - I figured I'd fill as much as I could and then let you have a choice of who you wanted at that point. Just let me know. Teams left: Pats Dolphins Bills Broncos Chiefs Redskins 49ers Rams Seahawks
  15. Were the Braves really going to get more than a top 50 prospect in baseball? Seems like a solid deal to me.
  16. Maybe I had tuned out by then, but weren't we the world's worst return team last year? Didn't it take us to around week 10 to return a kick past the 20? I think it wasn't until week 11 until Mariani began to play. Mariani was a very good return man for the Titans, for what it's worth. Not much of a WR, though.
  17. Probably will be. Hopefully more people will join in though.
  18. All recent requests have been updated. 19 spots left to fill.
  19. Gave you the Chargers and you can reserve the other two if/when we start doubling up.
  20. We've got about a month, so I'm thinking we can take a few days and, hopefully, start Monday if that works for everybody. And, as usual, the Titans are mine.
  21. Basically, the premise is this: 1. We'll need at least one person for each of the 30 teams. 2.The first person will be the person of record for that team, but it might be fun to have a bit of a "war room" type of activity. We'll limit War Rooms to five per team. 3. War Rooms participants should share IM names and might want to form a private chat room to discuss their selections. It is recommended that War Rooms take a vote on picks after the discussion and allow the person of record make the pick. If a consensus cannot be reached, the first person to sign up for each team will make the final decision. 4. Picks will be made in real-time, with a set amount of time between picks. After that time ends, a pick will be made for that team. Each slot will have 24 hours to make a pick. (Idea and wording courtesy of vance_the_cubs_fan) Posters can double and triple up if there's a need - I'd like to have more than one for most, if not all, the teams out there. If anybody has any suggestions, post in this thread or you can PM me. Also, I'll try to keep a running list of the next 3 picks coming up - if you have any question whatsoever about your ability to make your pick when your turn comes up, PM me with your top 3 (or so) choices and I'll announce your pick if you can't. We will likely do a 24-hour time limit on picks to try to keep this thing moving along. If you can't make your pick in that time period, I'll make it for you. If you want to take one of the teams, post it in here or PM me and I'll update the list. And here's the list thus far: War Rooms Patriots: CaliforniaRaisin Dolphins: JeffH Bills: CaliforniaRaisin Jets: jersey Steelers: raw Ravens: WrigleyField 22 Browns: UK Bengals: UK Colts: dew Titans: dew Jaguars: dew Texans: JeffH Broncos: WrigleyField 22 Chargers: raw Raiders: soccer10k Chiefs: UK Cowboys: shnsajax, vance Eagles: jersey Giants: jersey Redskins: tfarks Vikings: Brian707 Bears: cubbyvirus Lions: sneaky Packers: MarkR Panthers: Andy Falcons: Vanilla Ice Buccaneers: Vanilla Ice Saints: Vanilla Ice 49ers: CaliforniaRaisin Cardinals: raw Rams: mul Seahawks: raw ROUND 1 ROUND 2 1 Tennessee - Cedric Ogbuehi, OT, Texas A&M 2 Tampa Bay - Jake Fisher, OT, Oregon 3 Oakland - Byron Jones, CB, Connecticut 4 Jacksonville - Shaq Thompson, LB, Washington 5 NY Jets - Eli Harold, DE/OLB, Virginia 6 Washington - Dorial Green-Beckham, WR, Oklahoma 7 Chicago - Ronald Darby, CB, Florida State 8 NY Giants - Owamagbe Odighizuwa, DE/OLB, UCLA 9 St. Louis - Benardrick McKinney, LB, Mississippi State 10 Atlanta - Maxx Williams, TE, Minnesota 11 Cleveland - Nelson Agholor, WR, USC 12 New Orleans - Denzel Perryman, LB, Miami 13 Minnesota - Jordan Phillips, DT, Oklahoma 14 San Francisco - AJ Cann, G, South Carolina 15 Miami - Laken Tomlinson, G, Duke 16 San Diego - Mario Edwards Jr., DE, Florida State 17 Kansas City - Devin Smith, WR, Ohio State 18 Buffalo - Brett Hundley, QB, UCLA 19 Houston - Eric Kendricks, ILB, UCLA 20 Philadelphia - Damarious Randall, S, Arizona State 21 Cincinnati - Preston Smith, DE, Mississippi State 22 Detroit - PJ Williams, CB, Florida State 23 Arizona - Stephone Anthony, ILB, Clemson 24 Pittsburgh - Quentin Rollins, CB, Miami (OH) 25 Carolina - Duke Johnson, RB, Miami 26 Baltimore - Sammie Coates, WR, Auburn 27 Denver 28 Dallas 29 Indianapolis 30 Green Bay 31 Seattle 32 New Enlgand Draft sites of interest: NFL Draft Countdown National Football Post - Russ Lande Walter Football Football's Future Mel Kiper and Todd McShay at ESPN NFL.com Combine site Draft Tek Mocks of the past: 2011 mock draft 2012 mock draft 2013 mock draft 2014 mock draft
  22. Thanks for the reminder sneaky. I'll work on it now.
  23. um For what it's worth, the only thing I've seen from Titans beat writers (Paul Kuharsky and Jim Wyatt) is that the Titans are not interested in Cutler at all. They sound sold on Mettenberger or Mariota (probably Mett).
