  1. He might be too aggressive for a Cover 2. He wasn't particularly good in Minnesota.
  2. Yep. Starts at 6 p.m. CST. Thanks Not a problem.
  3. For their defensive scheme I'd go Morgan Burnett before Mays. Maybe Nate Allen too.
  4. Yep. Starts at 6 p.m. CST.
  5. I'm not either of them and my opinion probably doesn't mean as much (I don't know the Colts' needs as much as them), but Jerry Hughes is an explosive pass rusher. How he'll fit exactly, though, I don't know. I respect your opinion, but CCP and Exile usually make posts about the Colts picks that make me feel good. Haha, I understand.
  6. Mays isn't really that similar to Sharper, I don't think. Sharper's strength is roaming the field and making plays and the biggest question about Mays is whether he can make plays on the ball. If they want to replace Sharper they should have traded up for Berry or Thomas. Just because they don't play a similar doesn't mean Mays can't fill the void left by Sharper. They need a S not necessarily a Sharper clone. Sharper's a big reason they were so good defensively last year and he had that good a year because he fits the defensive scheme so well. Mays doesn't fit the scheme nearly as well, so picking him would be changing a lot of what made your defense good.
  7. Interesting.

  10. Jerry Hughes, eh? Very interesting. I guess he'll be a DE?
  11. Extra point conversion rate has to be as close as it gets. Fumbles maybe? Even with bad blocking you can still hold onto the ball. I agree with the overall point, though, that there is basically no individual stat in football.
  12. I wonder why the Lions felt the need to trade up? Would the Saints take a RB?
  13. There are still some really good DBs left on the board.
  14. Matt Cassell the one year wonder. Scott Mitchell was really good for one season too. He also helped develop Tom Brady (though to what extent I'm not sure). I want to see Cassell with some talent around him in KC before writing him off. And even if you consider him a one-year wonder, you have to wonder if it was a random fluke or if McDaniels had a lot to do with it.
  15. Fantastic pick by the Jets. Kyle Wilson is a really good corner.
  16. Orton is a well-below average NFL QB and Tebow wont be half as good as Orton. That is why it was a terrible move. If Tebow is going to develop, though, McDaniels is the right coach to pair him with. Orton/Quinn can start this year while McDaniels works with Tebow on fixing his mechanics.
  17. It's strange, but I like the Tebow pick for Denver. McDaniels can work very well with QBs (look at Matt Cassell) and if anybody is going to turn Tebow into an NFL QB it's McDaniels. Also, the closest you're going to get in the NFL to Florida's spread offense is Denver, so it'll be less of an adjustment for him. They shouldn't have given a 2nd, 3rd and 4th rounder to get him though.
  18. Tebow to Denver it looks like.
  19. Cowboys gave up a 3rd rounder and picked up a fourth rounder.
  20. Jonathan Hutton, a Titans beat writer, said the Haynesworth to Titans deal won't go through.
  21. Can't imagine the Vikings pass on him. After seeing some of the bizarre picks, it wouldn't surprise me if they do. That's the only logical place at this point. Good point. Cowboys trade up for Dez Bryant, I have to think.
  22. Really, really, really good pick for GB here.
  23. Can't imagine the Vikings pass on him.
  24. Bulaga here, I'd think. And the Cowboys may not need to trade up for Dez.
  25. Demaryius shaking hands. Good pick.
