  1. I like the positions you brought up. I really like Bruce Campbell, especially with Mike Munchak coaching the line. CB Dominique Franks might be an option as well. A running back could be upcoming fairly soon too. They're trying really hard to trade LenDale, apparently. I'd really like LaMarcus Coker later in the draft, he's got a skill set somewhat similar to CJ (though not as good). He also was a return man while at Tennessee. Keep an eye on Levi Brown at QB at some point. This is too early, but he's drawn a lot of interest from the Titans.
  2. Yeah, that's what I read. I like him pretty well, especially if he can return punts. Agreed. What's going on? I don't hate either pick. This is the same Titans right? I think we're getting more attuned to what the Reinfeldt/Fisher duo is targeting. I called the Jason Jones and Gerald McRath picks the past couple of years and figured we'd be really high on JPP. I think we're just getting used to Reinfeldt. Plus, Reinfeldt has quite drafting super athletes who weren't good in college (Chris Henry). Now he's going for super athletes who were good in college (Jones). That helps too, I think.
  3. Bruce Campbell would be a nice pick for the Titans. Munchak could turn him into a monster.
  4. Yeah, that's what I read. I like him pretty well, especially if he can return punts.
  5. He did return punts? I like that. He really sounds like a Colts type of receiver, the Titans generally go for the more flashy type of receiver.
  6. Quick reading on him sounds like a very polished receiver without great physical skills (minimal second gear). Not a very Titan-like pick, definitely not a return man.
  7. USC guy. I would have preferred Gilyard, but Williams is interesting WR depth. Wonder if he can return?
  8. Chad Jones to New York. Will they take Bowman or Gilyard or look elsewhere? I have no idea who this pick will be for the Titans.
  9. If they could do it, I'd be real happy with Bowman/Gilyard in the third round. Yeah. But the Giants also like taking Penn State players so they could take him here. Yeah, there's still some LB depth left I believe. Return man is very important this round, I would think.
  10. I like Major Wright. Good pick by Chicago.
  11. If they could do it, I'd be real happy with Bowman/Gilyard in the third round.
  12. I still want Gilyard for Carolina though I would be shocked if he fell that far at this point. He'd be a nice pick for a team needing WRs right now. Yeah, I don't expect him to fall to 77, but Titans may trade up as well. With Arenas off the board, Gilyard may be the best return man still on the board.
  13. I get the feeling if Mardy Gilyard is there for either Titans pick, they'll take him. I've heard they were interested in a receiver and in a return man (definitely the latter) and Gilyard would fit both. I'd like that.
  14. Dolphins with John Jerry. Run on guards I guess.
  15. Pack have had safety issues, I believe. Burnett's a really nice pick.
  16. At FORDHAM. Correct. And Joe Flacco was very good at Delaware. Those stats shouldn't be dismissed if the player has the physical attributes conducive to succeeding in the NFL. If you want to say Skelton put up good numbers and has good measurables that make him a worthy prospect, that's fine. But to say, "well Skelton has a better YPA than McCoy", that's where the usefulness of those numbers ends. Asamoah, that's a pretty good pick. Yeah, comparing them head to head is hard and I probably shouldn't have worded it that way. I was primarily trying to point out that Skelton was productive in college. Very similar numbers overall to Flacco, actually. More INTs, slightly better completion %.
  17. At FORDHAM. yeah, come on dew, you can't be serious here. I don't really like many QBs in this draft after Bradford/Clausen. Because of that, I'm looking for upside out of the QBs after Clausen.
  18. Haha, there you go sulley. Asamoah went ahead of Jerry. :D Nice pick by KC, though taking a tackle and moving Albert inside might have been better.
  19. At FORDHAM. Correct. And Joe Flacco was very good at Delaware. Those stats shouldn't be dismissed if the player has the physical attributes conducive to succeeding in the NFL.
  20. Skelton completed 64% of his passes with a 26:10 TD:INT ratio. He's also 6-5. McCoy is 3 inches shorter and, while he had a 70% completion percentage, he threw for a full yard less per attempt. Brown's 2 inches taller than McCoy and completed 63% of his passes. Similar ypa to McCoy, but from all I've seen and read, a stronger arm and, I think, more upside.
  21. McCoy's faster than Crompton and was more productive, but he also had vastly more talent than Crompton and was playing in an offense very conducive to a high completion % – lots of screens and slants in the games I watched. I question whether McCoy has a strong enough arm and how many reads he can go through. Crompton has nearly all the physical skills you can want – very strong arm, decent mobility, accurate when playing well – but he was very unproductive, partially due to lack of talent around him, partially because he just struggles with the game mentally. I couldn't really argue putting McCoy over Crompton, but I don't think the gap is huge. As for Brown, I like his strong arm and his plus mobility. He's a heavy developmental guy, but I think he has far more upside than McCoy. Skelton is similar to Crompton, but he was more productive in college.
  22. Brown's a nice pick here.
  23. I'd like to see the Titans move up for Morgan Burnett at some point here. He's a massive value at this point.
  24. Pat Angerer – six foot tall fast linebacker. A classic Colt pick.
  25. The Colts could get CCP and Exile's first round pick here in the second round.
