This is a good example of meatballing the other way I know, its frustrating when Cutler isn't finishing his tackles and getting out of position and out of his gaps. This is a perfect example of what I'm talking about. Jay didn't have much to do with this loss, but he wasn't very good either. He missed a few throws early that stalled drives, and took a couple sacks where he stood way too long in the pocket. I'm not a meatball that wants mccown to start, I just think the meatballs are given more fuel when there is a segment of fans that are incapable of admitting when cutler is not so good. Cutler wasn't good, just with him and his polarizing figure it's been all or nothing whether most like him or dislike him. These last two weeks have not been great. Right now with this defense, they need the QB who gives them the best chance of winning a shoot-out, this isn't the '06 defense where you might have an argument. Plus, everyone pissed right now.
