That falls more on the stupidity of the manager than on the players themselves. Come on, don't make it sound like Patterson, Neifi, and Macias had good or even passable OBPs. Hairston was up and down. But I'd take some one like Murton, Cedeno, or Walker over Podsednik offensively without much of a second thought. Nah I understand. My point was just that having Podsednik and his numbers in our offense this past year would have helped our team. I agree, there are plenty of folks that are better than Podsednik, but having him in CF this past year would have been beneficial to our offense.
