  1. Yah he don't elevate the ball enough but the hits are always lasers (soler)
  2. Bryant avg inching closer and closer to castros
  3. It's Wierd how his glove is always off until the patch is about to come out of Hendricks hand..
  4. Im sitting here thinking it's Wrigley north tnite
  5. The tailgating here at miller is off the chain today
  6. I think so he should take a page out of Tim Hudson book and volunteer to sit out
  7. Honestly I wish Lester gave up his David Ross blankie and we could do without another extreme hole in the lineup with him I wish after his last concussion ross negotiated keeping his salary and becoming a bench coach
  8. yeah them cardinals and pirates are just good man. damn small market teams
  9. anyways heading up to milwaukee in a bit for the game ! hope i see some bombs!
  10. regain some confidence maybe? He's not an idiot; he's not going to go beat up on minor league pitching for a week and then think, "psh, this MLB thing is no problem!" Confidence isn't his problem; a lousy contact rate and trouble with a lot of pitches is his problem right now. yeah this season the end result will be what ever it ends up being i suppose. hopefully in the offseason he will work on a 2 strike tweak to his swing
  11. nope, he'll make the adjustment i hope so seems like he cant even hit a fastball these days so many right down the middle wiffs.
  12. regain some confidence maybe?
  13. I guess we will have to wait and see, but the whole rooftops debacle made it interesting. Ricketts shelling out alot of money for that project. It would have been sweet if the rebuild of the team and renovations at wrigley happened at the same time.
  14. You guys will prolly bash me, call me stupid or whatever for what I am about to say but... Looks like KB is lost, could a week or 2 down in Iowa do him some good?
  15. decent bench piece i wouldnt be surprised if the cardinals or white sox pick him up and he destroys the cubs
  16. bad pitchers pitch better vs. the cubs than good pitchers .lol
  17. do you think the kid lost his confidence? (KB)
  18. Isn't Rick Morrissey one of the long time cubs haters for the Sun Times? His points do make you wonder a bit.. I mean I guess going out getting lester was a statement that the team will spend money, but will they really go get another top pitcher ace kinda guy in the offseason? Also, will they be able to keep Jake long term? I hope we don't end up getting cheaped out by that Ted Cruz doppelganger (ricketts)
  19. http://chicago.suntimes.com/sports/7/71/841472/cubs-play-small-ball-trade-deadline-shame Is this guy smoking crack or do you think there is something to this column?
  20. so if he is solid first couple times around and the cubs have a decent lead joe takes his chances. if not he gets pulled. still better than wada/richards/beeler/roach.. in fact kinda like having another Kyle Hendricks
  21. Nice win hope we can stay on the streak and bryant bat wakes up for next week's big games.
  22. Probably because Dallas Beeler is coming off the worst two consecutive starting pitching performances in the modern era. That said, I'd rather see Wada/Wood. I agree on wood/wada.
