He needs to be up. No reason to keep trotting Starlin out. If you listen to Jesse Rogers, Baez shouldn't be called up because he could be "much worse" than Castro. Statistically, I don't know how that is even remotely possible. even if he Ks 2 times per game, he will hit more bomb between now and the end of the season than starlin all season so far. also the double play threat is reduced dramatically and lastly if javy is at 2b, the defense is going to be alot better with russell at ss

I'd rather not have a doubleheader if possible. Although there are MLB rules about how many off days you have to have so it might have to happen its alot easier with expanded rosters though.

im pulling for cancel and double header in september the more i think about it i like it, could really make a huge impact on the postseason

well if it was called they go back to pittsburg on 9/15 ~ 9 /17 they could always have a doubleheader after the rosters expanded. that probably wouldnt be a bad thing at all.

Because Soriano has a better track record of success, a much higher ceiling if he can get it together, and while stupid because it's a sunk cost, they invested quite a bit in him and want to exhaust all opportunities to get their money's worth. ugh your right but its so ugh lol i dont think he has had a good outing.. i think sometimes maddon plays favorites, in this case soriano was his goto guy half a decade ago... Joe its not the same guy!

anecdotal, but Mike Trout had 139 K's in his rookie year, and 184 in last year's MVP season Harper had 120 in his rookie year, but has averaged less than 100/season since Bryant already has 128 with about 2 months to go
