  1. Either Castro gets angry and kills the ball next chance to start or he spirals more and more down the path he has already been heading
  2. i think when people insult you for weeks and later on they are proven wrong its valid to remind them that they were wrong
  3. I think Javy is going to be traded for a TOR controllable arm and they dont want to ruin his trade value any more than it was last year. He has had alot of wiffs too lately.
  4. So here we are, some weeks later and what happened? Annnnd i guess Joe Maddon is an idiot too!
  5. I hope he never plays again this year besides pinch hitter. lol
  6. I think Lester will get mad when Ross throws to 2nd and Coghlan misses the throw and it goes into CF, advancing the runner to 3rd with no outs. However all will be forgiven when Cogs comes through with good hit or 2
  7. na if montero catched i'd agree with this statement
  8. Your saying Bryant is a better hitter than Schwarber? Schwarber Hit: 60 | Power: 65 | Run: 40 | Arm: 45 | Field: 40 | Overall: 65 Bryant Hit: 55 | Power: 75 | Run: 40 | Arm: 60 | Field: 50 | Overall: 70 What are you talking about dude? I said Schwarber is a better HITTER than Bryant not a better PLAYER. you sure your not using a german translation app?
  9. for saying that Schwarber is a better hitter than KB? na dude is better. his hit tool is even rated higher are you using a german-to-english translator or something? this makes no sense
  10. for saying that Schwarber is a better hitter than KB? na dude is better. his hit tool is even rated higher
  11. I'm gonna make sure to try not to rage so hard when we see this lineup defensively one day soon. CF Fowler LF Schwarber 2B Coghlan 1B Rizzo 3B Bryant RF Soler C Ross P Lester SS Castro
  12. This exact problem (defense vs. offense) is why i want the NL to have a DH. I mean if we didn't have a guy like Schwarber I wouldn't care, but his bat is probably the best of the rookie batch.. Sure its a short sample size but his swing is soo short / compact compared to guys like KB.
  13. a couple times and he looked pretty shaky
  14. Not unless they want to bring up Baez. Not happening in August apparently. http://espn.go.com/blog/chicago/cubs/post/_/id/32982/hoyer-baez-isnt-coming-anytime-soon
  15. wtf....why are people acting like this is a possibility? because Castro never gets benched. There had been nobody to bench him for, you silly bunny. I guess technically there still isn't. Coghlan isnt 2b right?
  16. But....nobody was considering a Coghlan/Castro infield. Like...nobody. Just sayin' Mr. Maddon has done some funky things with lineups / switching players around in his history. Not saying it should happen, actually I am scared to see it. However I wont put it past the Cubs manager to try it out.
  17. One thing that worries me is if they put Coghlan at 2b and Keep Castro at SS, that's probably the worst middle infield defensively in the game. I hope they keep Russell in there at SS to offset Coghlan a little
  18. I don't see any reason to bring him up even in September, he could whiff 30 times in a month then have even less trade value
  19. Its funny to me that after the team says they will do this people actually aren't against it, but when i said that some weeks ago the whole forum basically attacked me lol Rightfully so; David is drunk. This is going to be a catastrophe. at 7:30am? really? yall get down like that?
  20. Its funny to me that after the team says they will do this people actually aren't against it, but when i said that some weeks ago the whole forum basically attacked me lol
  21. The chicks right behind the Giants dugout 1st row are smokin'
  22. So you honestly believe that there's zero chance at this point that Kris Bryant, now a professional baseball player, will not work with anyone other than his father when it comes to his approach at the plate? Yes go google it.
