If Dusty's back in 2007, I will give thought to giving up on this team altogether. It will show that this organization has no commitment to winning a World Series, no commitment to improving the organizational philosophy, and a complete blindness when it comes to the competency and accountability. The season is lost. Frankly, we should continue trotting this guy out every fifth day for the rest of the season no matter how bad he is. I don't care about his current effectiveness or whatever, but if he can't turn in a good start or two by the end of the season, then he can be shipped out. This team gains NOTHING by starting Rusch or Phil Norton or any other overrated schmuck in his place.
