Here's my current concern. After this series, the Cubs go on a mini-run, something like winning 8 out of their next 10, getting up to 48-57 and moving up to something like 8 games out of the Wild Card in the process. This will convince Hendry and Dusty that the Cubs are still in the race for the WC and stand pat or possibly even make a move for a veteran utility guy, thinking that since the Cubs could take 2 of 3 from the best team in the NL, they have to be competitive! They'll then spend August starting useless veterans over promising young guys who should be getting time, completely collapse by the 15th of August, and then flounder for the rest of the season. Then again, maybe the Mutts will come back and win somehow.
