If Barrett punches Jim Edmonds in the face, he will become my all-time favorite Cub. Not everybody gets to live out the dream of punching AJ Pierzalphabet and Lassie in the face. :twisted:

Atleast it was a strong throw around the plate, if that was JJ the ball would have 25000000000 skipped to the cutoff man. Agreed, but I think Barrett should get props when deserved. I tend to think he's a bit underrated around these parts. :D

Honestly, give Barrett credit for that one. Soriano's throw was not very good, but Barrett blocked the plate and kept with the play to the very end.

Cedeno isn't great at SS b/c he gets all ADD on the routine plays. The natural ability is there to pile up the gold gloves. Agreed, but I don't think a silver slugger is in Cedeno's future. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

It's a damned if you do, damned if you don't proposition. Theriot's bat is significantly better than anything Cedeno and Izturis can offer. However, his defense leaves something to be desired. Considering that Izturis and Cedeno aren't exactly defensively great at SS, either, I think Theriot at SS makes sense.

Yes. I don't know how big of a stretch it is to get the 6 and net Landry, but that paragraph about Angelo liking Landry really gets me excited. The parts about Angelo liking Quinn and Peterson has me skeptical about the veracity of that article, though.
