    If that ends up being the case, let me assure you that Dusty will move to the top of my Most-Hated List for trying his hardest to ruin every pitcher who put on a Cubs uniform during his tenure. Cripes, he should have been fired after the Chad Fox debacle. That was inexcuseable.

    I think part of the problem with the offense today was just pure bad luck. The Cubs had some hard hit balls, but if they were hit too low, they were hit right at infielders. If they were hit too high, they'd get caught up in the wind and become deep flyouts (or, in Mike Cameron's case, a great opportunity to do a faceplant). There wasn't much room for error, you know? If the wind were blowing out, this game would have been a shootout. I'm not too entirely worried about the offense right now; the power's there and they caught a few too many bad breaks today.
