Actually, to be fair, the vast majority of Boras clients end up heading to college. I think Pawelek was the first Boras client in a long time (I want to say since A-Rod, but I know that's wrong) who was drafted out of HS and signed with the team that drafted him. -

I think it is too early to worry about the number of K's. From what I have seen, the K's will come as he matures as a pitcher. Given his track record in college, the lack of ks is something to worry about. However, giving up only one run is great all of the time. Maybe he's going to become more of a sinker baller than a strike out pitcher. I think it's a sign of a guy who doesn't have a viable strikeout pitch yet. He can overpower other hitters with his fastball without much trouble, but his slider and change are nowhere near as good as it. The hope is that, with time, both will become good enough pitches. -

Is that what they call steroids these days? Estrada tested positive for clarified butter. So that's the scientific name for "the cream" and "the clear" I take it? Every time he goes to Krispy Kreme, he order a dozen of "the cream" and a dozen of "the clear", giving him 12 Boston Creams and 12 Glazeds. And if you had told me in spring training Cedeno and DeRosa would be the only ones who would have home runs for the Cubs so far this season, I'd tell you to get your head checked.
