One of my biggest pet peeves is when the person singing the 7th inning stretch says "let's get some runs" when the Cubs are ahead in the game. One of my biggest pet peeves is when people tell me their pet peeves.

Well, a WP/passed ball now scores the run. Plus it was the pitcher. I can't exactly say it was a wasted AB, you know?

If I were intoxicated and saw Dora the Explorer throw out the first pitch at Wrigley, I might very well have freaked out.

Ball deflected off of Lee's glove. Cedeno was on the spot, picked up the ball, and underhanded it a bit high to Marquis. Marquis made a big stretch and stepped on 1B before the runner made it.

You can make an argument with the bat though In a vaccuum, yes. However, moving DeRosa to 2B would make some amount of sense and still provide an upgrade over Theriot or Cedeno.

I mean, you can't even really make a defensive argument of DeRosa over Murton in LF. Seriously, FTH Lou?

It wouldn't have been too much to ask to have Murton in LF, DeRosa at 2B, and Cedeno at SS, would it?

The Rockies have three lefties in their rotation with Francis, Redman, and Morales. As far as I can tell, no other potential contender in the NL has more than two LHPs in their rotation.
