  1. So, the pattern I'm seeing for the Cubs in three game series this season is lose the first two game in horrific fashion, then win the third game by scoring lots of runs.
  2. For those of you who missed Heinze smacking the cameraman: Link
  3. Goal of the tourney. Almost as good as Rodriguez's goal in their 2006 WC matchup, imo.
  4. Fall! FALL!!!!! Mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
  5. The pre-draft reports depended a lot on when teams saw him. Early in his season, he was working in the high 80s and looked really lackluster. Most teams backed off of him, although the Cubs kept an eye on him. As his season went on, his stuff improved markedly and the Cubs were able to snag him late. Much like Cashner last year, a lot of McNutt's success depends on how well he can develop his changeup. McNutt has a fastball/curveball combination that could easily translate to success as a setup man. If he adds a changeup and keeps his stuff at a high level deep into the season, he could very well be a high quality 2/3 starter.
  6. Mexico just got screwed horrifically. Wow.
  7. "The referee in this game is the only Italian who'll be staying around for this World Cup." =D>

  9. Figures.
  10. Damn damn damn damn damn.
  11. Just awful.
  12. Ridiculous.
  13. GET THE [expletive] UP YOU [expletive]!
  14. He's still 20 years old, he needs at least another year, and there's no overriding need for anyone at 1B or the OF. Keep him at 3B and see if he can ever figure it out. If not, moving him to 1B or the OF shouldn't be too difficult when he gets called up.
  15. One minute of extra time? Really? Really?
  16. Hey jackass, didn't your ass just get stretchered off the field a minute ago?
  17. Gah, so close.
  18. Oh Jesus.
  19. About time that gets called.
  20. Got tripped up, but the fact that he got it off and got as close as he did is pretty damn impressive.
  21. Great play, but aggggggggggggh.
  22. Ghana's panicking and getting sloppy. Come onnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!
  23. Dear God, that was too close.
