    Assuming he can keep his weight in check I'd go with Miguel Cabrera without much thought. If he keeps getting fatter then Hanley Ramirez.

    No shame in Wood's outing. Giving up a solo shot to a good fastball hitter like Bay will happen from time to time...the important thing is that he immediately stopped the bleeding and made the next three batters look like chumps and kept the Cubs in it. Exactly. He made one mistake and a good fastball hitter picked on it.

    Wow. So I left when we went to the 10th, went to baskin robins, went back to my friends place, hung out there for a bit, came back to my place, then walked my friends to th train station, then came back..and this game is still going. Yikes.

    Which brings him to, what, 50 pitches in four days? Who cares? He used to throw much more than that in one day. People need to stop looking for things to bitch about. How long has it been since he's started? honestly. He's been used a lot this first week. Since '06? 50 pitches over 4 days isn't a lot. Not even close. Not to me at least. Yeah, so it's been a year and a half since he's started. Maybe it's not a lot to you but apparently it is to him. And if we're already using him this much -it could quickly lead to serious over use over the course of the season. And I'm pretty sure he threw more than 50 pitches in those four days.
