  1. Id like to see Central Michigan give Georgia their run for the money this weekend. QB Dan Lefevour is a pretty damn good running the spread(Centrals coach is a former R. Rodriquez OC). I call Lefevour 'Tim Tebow Lite'. He isnt as big or strong as him but runs the qb draws up the middle pretty well, might actually be better with his arm than Tim's though. Their defense needs to be up to the challenge of Georgias offense, but Lefevour can really make some noise this week.
  2. youd think they would learn from the B10. nope
  3. SOB i burned all my beer. Is this game worth the hard stuff. There aint no taking it slow by now with that stuff.
  4. Squib kick suck.
  5. yeah that was not the 2007 ucla offense i remember.
  6. he was open.
  7. i said to myself....Raisin??? :)
  8. does the pac 10 had replay that spot looked bad.
  9. Yeah CFB is great because a team is never out of it. I could care less how long the game takes. It wasnt like the rules were unfair.
  10. Or the known fact that Tennessee's problems is that their Head Coach has been busy looting in New Orleans for his Krispy Kreme Donuts instead of gameplanning against UCLA. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v39/SwedeCarlson/Funnies/Smack/attachment.jpg Fullmer actually wishes he looked that trim. I love the donut in the back pocket.
  11. 4*Qb Tate Forcier visited Michigan this weekend and ended up committing after the game. Im sure after seeing the awful qb play he was like yup i can start next year. It was so bad it was good. Too bad his brother transfered a couple years ago, he would be a good fit and the starter this year. They also got another midget to commit, damnit RR likes the midgets.
  12. RT Willie Anderson was released by the Bengals. Move Tait to LT. I think think Tait is a better LT or crazy crazy thought (hey this is the bears Oline we are talking about so is anything crazy is worth thinking about) put Anderson at RG. Yeah its kinda late for a position switch(he wont be ready for a couple weeks)...but im desperate over here! And Im not offering Babich ANY excuses this year. He is on a short leash like Turner is for me. I didnt like what Jauron did with defense when he had those guys(i wanted to punch Greg Blache in his stupid face), i thought they were much better, well i think way more of these current players than what Jauron had. This defense better bring it or im going to be pissed.
  13. i dunno if wisconsin is clearly better. i really like their team except for their qb, and that's only the most important position on the field. they're gonna struggle with teams that don't let them run at will. It's the same story year in, year out. The Badgers will have a strong running game, good offensive line, good receivers, capable at the least defense, and a QB who is mediocre at best. If they ever got a good QB, they'd be a yearly national title contender. Sooo true. Their Qb is always solid but yet doesnt have it to win multiple games by himself. Perenially underated football program, probably because they dont have ooh and ahhs when it comes to recruits out of HS, thats the only thing i can think of why they dont get more attention than they deserve. IF they can land a highly rated HS pro style Qb they might really have something, dude would probably have to hail from WI but hey they might land some guy who wants to start as a fresh.
  14. It's been pretty bad on offense. You can tell neither QB has any sort of experience. Still, UM is playing a ton of young players which makes me excited for the future. Your not ready to fire Rich yet? Nah, anyway thats a positive way to look at the season after this game. The olin play wasnt as crappy as i thought might happen and the QB play was b.a.d. Sheridan cant throw a good pass past 15 yards, Threet has more upside passing the ball but needs experience. The defense was very disappointing in the first half but was a different team in the 2nd. The qb play really dragged this team down, not exactly a shock. Right now a 5-7 team is what im thinking, hell maybe worse.
  15. Great video. With Aramis dipping that shoulder when he goes to CF or RCF i think its a pop fly. Hes done that a couple times to me this year, especially the game winner to dead CF this year, i couldnt believe that was a homer.
  16. Bazuin to be released too. McGowan demoted, Payne starting safety. Ok that one was a surprise to me.
  17. There are some good and interesting games this weekend no doubt. Dare i say the best of my recollection for first week games. Im very interested to see what Michigan brings tomorrow and the 3 night games look very interesting with the Illini/Miz game being the best. Terrelle Pryor is supposed to get some snaps tomorrow, hmmm. And is clemson really #9, thats seems a bit high to me, i thought they have a lot of questions on the oline.
  18. Go Cubs Go is THE theme song for this team. Not since the "We are Family" 79 Pirates has there been a stadium full of people break into song after a home win.
  19. Yeah awesome news about Charter. I wonder when the channels will be turned on? Hopefully before Saturday.
  20. 2005 didnt turn out well. Bradley has been riddled with injuries. Orton at 4 and Harris at 6 were solid picks. But yeah, blah. The Bazuin/Wolfe/Okwo looks real bad though. Oline was a need then. Not DE at 2nd round, not 3rd down Rb at 3 and not LB at 3 with Jamar Williams being drafted the year before. If they thought Briggs was going to leave after the year then handle that in FA. Now that Briggs is signed long term that was a wasted pick as they planned to far ahead of themselves. Rounds 2-4 are your bread and butter for building a team. I liked the Olson pick and still do but damn there had to be a good tackle in there at one of those other 3 picks.
  21. Has Lilly had a game where he has not given up a HR. Damn that hurts him
  22. I have no expectations on how Michigan will finish this year. Everything is going to change offensively as well as defensively. I dont know how i could accurately expect anything from this team without seeing a few games before the B10 season starts. They have a lot of talent but predicting how they will mold to the new schemes is fruitless without seeing them in action first. I wont be surprised if they lose to Utah this weekend. Im really interested to see how they look though.
  23. The games have been on MSNBC. The US has been starting at 8EST except for today. I dont know when the finals starts.
  24. I really like watching this mens BBball team this year. The sum of the parts definetly equals the parts this time around. This team is so good compared to the competition its not even funny. Ive been really impressed by their play this year. It is weird at how awful Kobe is shooting though. Spain? I watched that game and the score was indicitive of how much they were outclassed by us. Probably wont be as big but should be 20+. The world has a way to go before they can say they have caught up to us. Improvements yes, but not to the degree as to what i have been reading or hearing.
  25. Holy crap the defense was crap last night. They played really soft and the quick passing plays worked well against them. Mike Brown got beat bad on that TD. I didnt see anything upfront. Special teams is ridiculousy good. The Bears block punts and FGs like a college team. This is the NFL, blocked punts and FGs just dont happen very often. Orton and the oline did pretty good. Davis should of had 3 tds but him and Orton connected well. Oh i hope i dont see that red zone screen to Hester, that play sucked the big ones.
