    Oh yeah. The NU qb i think is doing well today. hes seems better than the other guy they had earlier in the year. Or if hes the same guy, he doesnt look like the same guy 8)

    They arent stretching the field vertical worth a damn without him. The running game still looks good. The passing game today isnt doing much. Leon Hall is the man.

    no, weaver was on a one-year contract w/the Angels this year. Besides, I think if you release a guy, you're on the hook for his contract and he can sign for whatever he wants with another team. Thanks. I was worried they would get Weaver for league minimum for the next 3 years and have a guy with about a 4.00 era. (i must thought he and ortiz were in the same boat). would of been a good deal for them. Not we just gotta get the birds to bite the bait and sign weaver to nice hefty contract :twisted: Why would they do that when they can just pick up some other piece of crap for cheap? Because they will be reminded the pixie dust didnt work on mulder. its not 100% effective. The PR for a WS winner signing guys of the scrap aint good. Suppan will resign.

    So whats the story with Weaver. Dude was DFA by the angels with what 3 more years left on the contract. Cards get him this year for the minimum. do they get him for the minimum for the next 3 years too?
