  1. Thats hard to say. They has a pick 6, a possesion starting on the 5 and another starting at the 30 for the 21 points. The turnovers are throwing this game off kilter.
  2. Jones needs to stay in the pocket and pick up the blitz guy instead of dropping off in the flat.
  3. yeah when moose caught i was pleading for him to not fumble. This game has been a turnoverclusterf^%&
  4. i want harris back and bench TJ
  5. D. Manning blew the coverage. Vasher cant guard 2 players at once.
  6. The win wasnt pretty but they most definetly didnt struggle. The had over 500 of total yards on offense. Ball State made 3 really big plays and thats it, take those plays away and Michigan dominated the game. The 2 late scores were with many 2nd and 3rd stringers on the field. This doesnt excuse Texas moving in front of Louisville, im suprised about that. The coaches comments you are referring too pisses me off too. Troy Smith threw for like 100 yards against Illini and they only outgained Illini by like 20 yards. I could argue they struggled more this week than UM.
  7. I like your style. An everyday player adds to the marketablity. Cubs have the national distribuition outlet known as WGN. Take advantage of that.
  8. Yeah ratings FUBAR. Im kinda partial to the Demon Deacons. A couple years ago they were my Madden college team. I took them out of the ACC and put em in the Big Ten. Any ACC champ at this point isnt great shakes either.
  9. If you want your team to get a BCS at-large spot, you are cheering for Georgia Tech at this point to win out. Currently GT is 20th in the BCS and Boise is 14th. Tennessee (11), BC (15), and CU (19) lost yesterday. BSU may not move this week and could get leap frogged by LSU. So, that puts BSU still at 14th, maybe 13th and GT moves up to 17th. Tech has gimmies with UNC and Duke which would put them at 9-2. The big one comes against Georgia. If Tech wins that road game, they are 10-2 and knocking on the door of the Top 10, neck and neck with Boise State. If they win the ACC title game, they jump ahead of Boise State. At least, that's how I see it right now. This of course assumes BSU wins out... If i understand the BCS correctly even if GT finishes 10th and Boise finishes 11 or 12 they are in. If Boise is 13, 14, 15 or 16 then they need to finish in front of the ACC champ. Boise probably wont slip too many spots unless they lose. The Fiesta Bowl is looking disaster right in the face. If Boise makes it to a BCS game and gets rolled with bad TV ratings we are going to hear a lot of bitching about allowing these mid major programs in the BCS. I know this isnt the same team as the Boise team a couple years ago that went to Gainsville to play Florida but that team got absolutly or rolled against 'the big boys'. Its was over in like 5 minutes it was so bad. I wouldnt expect much different this time around.
  10. May I ask where the origin of this rant came from? It's actually pretty good-one harsher concluding sentence, and it might be Denny Green territory (not close to Jim Mora territory though) :D By the way, Boston College losing last night is bad news for those who wanted to see their team get a BCS at-large bid. Since the ACC winner is now going to even be further down in the BCS, they might stay behind Boise State. If Boise State stays ahead of the ACC winner, then they only need top 16 status to get a BCS bowl. So 2 of the likely 10 BCS teams are going to be either Wake Forest, Maryland, Georgia Tech from the ACC plus Boise State. Or all they need to be is top 12. If Boise runs the table they are almost a lock. Currently they are 14 in the BCS. Tennessee lost yesterday and are ranked 11th, Boise will jump them this week and probably be 13th. Rutgers is right in front of Boise at 13, if/when they lose Boise has their top 12. USC or Cal is going to lose 1 more because they play each other and USC/ND is going to lose one more because of the same thing. Wisconsin's win yesterday might jump then in front of Boise and it doesnt look like they will lose again this year. That might help prevent Boise but with the ND/USC/CAl scenarios still in place they might be top 12 even with Wisconsin ahead of them. I think that will be the case, but I'm not completely confident of that for a couple of reasons. 1)If Rutgers splits with WV/Louisville, they could very well stay ahead because they will probably actually go up in the polls because of the signature win. 2)Teams from behind-specifically Wisconsin, LSU, and Oklahoma-I think with strong finishes they could jump Boise State-they all got very good wins this week which will help them a great deal in both the polls and the computers. Don't be surprised if LSU makes a jump in the BCS to 12th or 13th. They were only 24th in the computers before this week-the win over Tennessee will vault them probably between 15 and 20, which combined with their good poll ranking will give them a significant jump. Those could offset the teams from ahead. I think that Boise State will get to the top 12 and stay there, but I'm not completely sure yet. I forgot about LSU's win yesterday in Knoxville. However, LSU still has yet to play Arkansas and Arksanas is a hair ahead of Boise right now. Arkansas also plays Tennessee this week. The attrition of the other teams surrounding Boise in the rankings right now looks to be pretty favorable for a top 12.

  12. I disagree. They are very balanced, but tend to give up some big plays. They have a great turnover margin, and a potent offense. I think they could go toe to toe with the big powers. Id like to see them in the Rose Bowl more than USC.
  13. I havent seen much of the game but isnt OU pretty much one dimensional on offense tonight? Load up and stop the run. Both teams have. 102 total passing yards, 440+ rushing yards Really AM too? HUh. gotta punt it here then. how are they going to go down the field with so little time if they cant pass. Oh, definitely. You don't make it here and they're already in range to win the game. Wow he went for it. Big Brass Ones
  14. Eye roll time?? Ive seen a picture on the internet with Steve Breaston in the end zone at ND this year and ND fan in the front row is right in his face flipping him the bird. I guess as they get older they dont get wiser in South Bend. Because that never happens to an opposing wideout in other stadiums. The point is that it's ridiculous that little kids were telling us we sucked. We're 3-7 on a MAC schedule, of course we f&@&^ing suck. I don't need jackass 7 year olds telling me that. Especially when their own team was one questionable no-call away from possibly being tied with Ball Freaking State at home. My point/example was sarcastic and an obvious generalization of ND fans. Its not meant to be taken seriously. Sure you can be pissed about the kid but generalizations like that can be applied to any football team in America.

  17. Wrong. Neither OSU or UM gets hammered in that game. OSU won by 7 today against Illinois today, better knock them down too. UM played very conservatively against NU last week in gail force winds and today they put up 507 total yards, 355 on the ground. They blew it on 3 plays. 2 long bombs and one pick six. The final 2 TDs for BSU were against 2 and 3rd stringers when they were up 31-12. It was closer than it should of been. I think that Michigan is kind of famous for this type of game. In the last couple of years their defense was bad enough to let their opponents come back on them. When it mattered their defense showed up and stopped BSU. I also think they have been holding back their offense for the OSU game. I am not saying that they are going to win but they will certainly play at a higher level against OSU. They also will stomp Louisville if given the opportunity. Yeah, UM sucks at style points, always has and probably always will.

  19. Wrong. Neither OSU or UM gets hammered in that game. OSU won by 7 today against Illinois today, better knock them down too. 20. Tough to win in the dome, but they can do it. Gophers favored by 6. But Minnesota is 0-5 in conference and haven't done much offensively most of the year and got beat by North Dakota St. at home. If IU can beat Minnesota and Purdue on the road, they have a good shot to tie Penn St. at 4th in the Big Ten, which would put them in the running for the Alamo Bowl, which would be a great accomplishment. Actually, it can be better than that. I heard that since it is likely that the Big 10 will send 2 teams to BCS Bowls, then that leaves Wisconsin for the Capital One Bowl, and if IU can win 2 games, they could be fighting with Penn State for the Outback Bowl. Wow. It probably will be more likely that they go to one of the next 3 bowls though (the Alamo, Champs Sports, Insight). Ah, good point. I was just basing it on the generic model. The Outback Bowl would bring me to tears! But yeah, I'd settle for any bowl game right now. And I'm definitely not counting wins against Minnesota and Purdue on the road yet. Both will be very tough games that can go either way. Seems kinda doable for IU. The outback bowl is a frickn good bowl. The Capital One bowl is the best bowl outside the BCS and the Outback is 3rd or 4th behind that one. Damn.
  21. Why are the Gophers favored by 6? Hell im thinking IU will likely win this game than Minny will.
  22. It doesnt. Its the first time i can remeber that they are not on TV. If the game isnt on ESPN(2) or ABC it will be on the local cable channel the WXSP. Not even the X can carry this game. This is the #2 team in the country people. I think a couple weeks ago an OSU game was ESPNU and lotsa people were pissed about that one too.
