    Yeah because Michigan goes to the Rose Bowl to much. If you excluded all the Michigan Rose Bowl games it would probably be pretty good for the B10. Bo was 2-8 in the Rose and Carr is now 1-3. They need to change the goal of not just going to Pasadena every year but winning at Pasadena. Wow, all that SEC speed was too much for the Big Ten to handle. Can we just put that SEC speed garbage to rest. I thought SEC was supposed to have all these great defenses, well PSU and Wiscy matched up pretty well in that department. It aint like the best teams in the B10 are slow and prodding anymore. Ohio State is just as fast as Florida is. Pittman aint Keith Byers and Ginn isnt Cris Carter.

    Minn nearly lost to North Dakota State at HOME on a missed FG at the end of the game. I didn't think the Gophers were this impressive... They're definitely not, but they did play Penn State tough. I think that loss really affected them because they didn't show up against Wisconsin and Ohio State, and as you mentioned, barely beat North Dakota St. They did get things straightened out at the end of the year with wins over Indiana, Moo and Iowa, and they needed all those wins to make a bowl. So, they're not bad - just inconsistent. And, Cupito is a pretty good senior QB, so I'm not surprised to see him playing well, especially against this lousy TT defense. Also, kudos to Purdont for giving up 250 yards and three touchdowns to the crappy Maryland offense in the first half. Nice D fellas. Minny is weird. Some games they look real good and then the next week they play like crap. I planned on the bad minny showing up and got the yang not the ying tonight. Yeah Cupito is a good QB, this is why ive been surprised they've been so inconsitant. Im freaking shocked that Tech couldnt muster any points against the Gophers D. Purdue...what the hell. The turtles offense is horrible.

    I saw the onset kick. From the side angle it didnt appear the kicker touched it. I would of liked to see the end zone view. Thats where the Umpire was and he was real close to the action. Some other jagbag from the side came in and threw his little beanbag, he came and picked it up and then threw it like 5 yards from where the beaver touched it. Nice last 2 plays by Mizz.

    5 games today. All are available except the TTech/Minny game which is on NFL network. Its hard to say which is the best game. They all look pretty much the same to me.

    Im looking for the A&M qb to get jacked up some more. Dudes been getting clocked and some of it has been his own fault.

    Well id rather he go to the Giants than the Mets. The Mets are a bigger obstacle for the Cubs to go the WS than the Giants. Yes i just said that.

    I was just looking at some stats and was really surprised by how many penalties and how many penalty yards the Bears have given up. They are the most penalized defense in the NFL with 129. Only 3 teams are over 100. They have the most yards penalized. As a reference they have more than 500 yards than the Ravens do. Its the most penalized unit in all of football, including all of the offenses. Of the top 20 defenses in the NFL there are only 4 teams with over 800 penalty yards including the Bears. They are the only team in the NFL over 900 and they have 1049. Damn. Anybody got an theory/reason for all of this? They are awesome in 3rd down conversions as well as fumble recoveries though.

    Im really surprised FSU was able to put up 430 yards on offense and UCLA was able to put up 434 on offense too. I can't believ that. I got 9 on Oak State, im wonder how Bama will play without Shula. That coaching search has been a real cluster and im sure distraction. 16 on Cal. I really dont like A&M. Maybe its because they are perenially overrated/underachievers when it comes to their talent. Its either that or there coaching reallly sucks. 27 on Rutgers.

    Ok the Cardinals won the world series last year right? And now they dont resign one of their better pitchers (at least 2nd or 3rd) and its not like they are stacked in the rotation. Was it the 4th year, that got em scared? In this market this deal is very fair for the amount per year. I remember hearing earlier they offered him a 'firm' 3/21 deal. Well that was a joke. Im really surprised they didnt resign this guy. Weaver better really have his stuff straightened out.

    Well this wont take long then will it, i say it BEFORE they win. The ACC does suck, Wake aint no great shakes and you know it. The ACC champ game was awful. Wake appears to have a very solid D, so if the 'ville can put some points up that will be a nice. Wake's offense is pretty average at best, and the QB doesnt strike any fear in anybody. If the 'ville can get a nice lead early they may run away with this one.

    This is the first that ive seen Leaf play. He does look pretty sloppy. Ok i know i saw him for one series. So. Gary Crowton still sucks. Ha.

    Yes, he's a junior and is coming soon to an Oakland Raiders or Tampa Bay Buccaneers near you. Thanks. I assume that Tampa would get him and the Raiders would want a QB or is Simms done for his career? Simms is probably done in Tampa, but I doubt they pick until #3. If the Lions lose their last two, they have the #1 pick and likely go with Brady Quinn. There's not another really good quarterback on the board, so the next two picks are probably Joe Thomas (T, Wisconsin) and Johnson. Both Tampa and Oakland could use OL and WR help, so I doubt those guys get past #3. Didn't Millen just shell out a bunch of cash for 2 QBs this offseason? Here he goes again, picking up a ton at one position and forgetting about the rest. The Lions need so much more than just a QB. I'd try to assemble an actual, you know, football team first---lest the "Great QB" I draft wind up just like Joey. Yeah he did. And now the backup QB is actually more productive than Mike Williams at WR. Go Mormons!

    Hey, me too. I didn't think I had put that much on it. EDIT: Check out the who pickem whom page. Lots of extreme percentages with who picked whom. Only 3.8% for Iowa with McCoy in doubt? Wow. Ha, i picked Iowa. Whatta loser i guess i am. 3.8% is reallly low though. I figured not a lot guys would pick them so maybe i could pick up some points.

    I made OSU my highest. I made Michigan my second highest. Dont feel that supremely confident but i had to have it ranked 1st or 2nd. They should have a chart on our league website detailing all of our picks once the 'lock in' period is over.

    I seriously just got a cold shiver when I read that. Oh my god he is so awful. He's worse then awful. I don't really have words to describe it. I like Collinsworth though (assuming you were talking about Gumbel) I've always really enjoyed Collinsworth. I haven't heard any of the NFL Network games so far, but I can only imagine how bad Bryant would be. Well he called the playclock the shotclock this past week. That was fun. That's high comedy. How bout this one... Watching the Lions/Packers game on Sunday. Ron Pitts was doing the game. There were 4 of us and we all swear he said this. He referred to one of the players from the University of Vagina instead of Virginia. No really we swear he said that.

    I did hear Lovie say yesterday that they arent showing everything because they want to save some new looks for the playoffs. Bucs score on a 10 yard drive. 2 short pass plays with long YAC TD. These were 2 of the D. Mannings worst plays ive seen from him this year. He took bad angles both times. He makes those plays and the Bucs have to work for 14 points. He's young and going to make some mistakes, its not like he's been doing that all year, so im not too worried about him making those mistakes too much in the playoffs.

    I missed the whole game. 31 points and only 10 first downs for the Bucs? Was it just the big plays that got em back in it. Thats what it looks like. The Bears are very hard to get big plays on. They make you earn the points, didnt sound like that happened today. Grossman put up some really good numbers. Hope he played as well as his numbers say.
