It sounds terribly gross, and to align key themes in the Kane thread, I hate to blame the victim because we're dealing with an athlete that has this god-like complex and has told he's awesome at every stage of his life athletic life.

Stop this. The Cubs aren't going to lose just because they're the Cubs, just like the Cardinals don't win because they're the Cardinals. The Cubs are playing better than the teams behind them right now. And they have a huge lead. It's ok to accept that. Baseball's a volatile sport, they could go 1-5 or 0-6 this week not because they're the Cubs but rather because baseball's baseball. Not to mention going against Bumgarner, Kershaw (or do they miss him?), and Greinke.

I'm going this afternoon, don't be stupid cobs and lose. on a side note, this is the 7th game i've been this year and outside of opening night, each one has been pitched by hammel and hendricks... so of course i was excited to see that arrieta was slotted to pitch today but then was swapped with hendricks.
