    It looks like a Jake Fox/ Hoff platoon.

    I met Chad Fox in Ariz. He is one of the nicest players I have ever met. Cant condem the guy for trying it one more time. I am sure he is a future pitching coach for somebody. It is time for a bullpen purge. Patton, Cotts, and the DL'ed Fox must go. That leaves three changes to be made real quick.

    With Koskie looking like he will have to retire, I wonder if Hendry wishes he would have held onto Casey McGehee. He is batting .410 for the Brewers this spring and could be a backup at 3b,2b,1b, and an emergency c.

    Nothing has been announced yet. Having lost Listach to the Nats, there is an opening at Iowa. I wonder if Ryno will get bumped up to Des Moines?

    The Cubs had two bullpen catchers the last few years, Edgar Tovar and Kelly Miller. Tovar was a minor lge infielder and Miller was a pitcher.

    So is this where the Cubs are at? Trade for Peavy and probably sign Bradley for 2/3 years. Possible players leaving: Marquis, R. Hill, Hart, Guzman, Derosa ( Phil. ), Pie ( Balt.), Vitters , Cedeno. Possible players just passing through Chicago : Happ ( Phil. ) and Olsen ( Balt ). Who have I missed?

    According to Ariz. Phil at TCR the Cubs have added Mitch Atkins, Justin Berg, and Marcos Mateo to the Major Lge roster.

    The thing that bothers me is that the Cubs are paying a slug like Marquis his 10 mil. and cant find a way to keep my favorite Cub.
