    I have been waiting for the Cubs announcement on their minor lge managers and coaches. I thought they are usually announced at the Winter Meetings. I know the Cubs will need a new pitching coach at Iowa. Mike Harkey is the new bullpen coach for the Yanks.

    I checked the Iowa Cubs roster this morning on Cubs.com and Hoffpauir has been removed. I wonder if he has been released. Anybody heard?

    Have I been sleeping? I thought Derrek Lee, Aramis Ramirez, Alfonso Soriano, Carlos Zambrano, and Jeff Samardzija all have complete no trade clauses in their contracts.
