  1. I wonder if that percentage would go up or down if you removed partial innings. Not 100% but I believe I remember seeing 2 partial innings he walked someone and 1 partial inning he did not.
  2. Man Javy has been swinging at absolutely everything lately.
  3. Now 38/60 innings this year. How have there been 22 entire innings that he hasn't walked someone?
  4. If you're gonna walk someone might as well sail the ball over their heads am i right?
  5. I know, I didn't realize Javy got traded to the Phillies. Who'd we get for him?
  6. I don't know whats crazier: -Tyler Chatwood has walked at least 1 batter in 62% of his innings this year (36/58) -I expected that number to be higher -I took the time to look this up
  7. It's like Chatwood realized there was 2 outs already and he hadn't walked anyone yet
  8. I hate getting 2 on and 0 out for Bryant and Rizzo and then doing nothing with it. It's gonna happen from time to time but it always feels like we missed a really good chance
  9. Typical Chatwood, goes 3-0 to 3 of the first 5 batters (well the last one would have been 3-0 if it didn't hit the batter)
  10. *cough*bullsh-t*cough*
  11. I love this photo Even Hendricks is celebrating
  12. Ahh yes, I was at that game. I think the win briefly pulled us into 1st place with the Astros.
  13. Bobby Howry got the win watch your mouth this is a family message board
  14. I forgot about this, but 10 years ago Aramis Ramirez hit a grand slam against the Phillies to turn a 2 run deficit into a 2 run victory. The only difference is that his grand slam was in the bottom of the 8th instead of a walk off. Still some similarities. Sorry for the crappy fan video I couldnt find an MLB.com highlight for it.
  15. Yes all that hard work with Mallee paid off randomly several months after Mallee stopped working with him.
  16. So happy for Heyward. Guy deserves this
  17. Just remembered Heyward is on deck vs a lefty
  18. Missing the end of a close finals game for this. Better reward me Cubs
  19. Meh. Flukiest loss ever if they can’t come back. The only thing I’m annoyed about is that it appears the offense is in another funk
  20. Speaking of home runs...do you guys think Bryant remembers how to hit them?
  21. Yeah. I personally would have kept Q in but I don’t have a problem with the move
  22. Holy horsefeathers. I was not expecting that
  23. Thank God I saw this was posted in General Baseball Discussion
