  1. Contreras has these ABs with risp where it looks like the idea of walking is far from his mind. He’s gonna swing until something happens
  2. Like yes I’m overreacting but I genuinely went from feeling great about this inning to being concerned that we won’t score a run just by seeing Almora walk up
  3. WOW Bucknor you horsefeathering blow. Like HARD
  4. Lol pitch 1 is farther outside than pitch 2, can you guess which one CB called a ball and which he called a strike?
  5. Would have been so Rizzo to get thrown out on the bases on his first MLB hit
  6. Such a horsefeathering bad umpire Really horsefeathering changed the inning with Hendricks due up now instead of Happ and Contreras
  7. At least he didn’t blow up in the first inning? #progress
  8. Its a good time do our monthly revisit of whether or not the VBs are frauds.
  9. Wade Davis has blown more saves this year (6) than in the previous 3 years combined (5)
  10. What the horsefeathers Wade Davis? Brewers win
  11. Mr MVP Nolan Arenado had a runner on 3rd and 1 out and couldn’t get the run home. Thankfully Cargo came up next and homered. 3-1 Rox
  12. Sight for sore eyes. And 3 of those 5 pitched more than 5 IP!
  13. Yeah but he didnt start out the inning attacking hitters with a 3 run lead, lots of nibbling which put him at the mercy of the ump. Lead off single was an on 0-1 count. Next Ab went like this: [tweet] [/tweet] Right that doesn't really change my point. He threw a bunch of borderline pitches even after falling well behind. The ump was stupid but they were all close enough to call balls
  14. shouldnt be that hard but ill take it...Cubs win!
  15. ump is just not giving Strop anything
  16. Not totally on him here. . Seeing eye single, getting really squeezed, and then a ball that should be caught. Obviously not a 'good' outing, but could definitely see him getting out of this. Yeah but he didnt start out the inning attacking hitters with a 3 run lead, lots of nibbling which put him at the mercy of the ump.
  17. He sort of did in that one game against the reds but that was after he already gave up like 5 runs
  18. So much for the building an invincible bullpen thing. If you cant even hold 3 run leads in the 8th and 9th innings against the weak hitting Padres...
