Seriously, even in such a small sample it’s easy to notice Bote affecting the game in other ways than at the plate. He’s shown flashy defense and smart base running. At the plate he can work the count and he doesn’t get the yips whenever he’s up in a big spot unlike some others on the team. He’s just like...a good baseball player
