It’s weird because he gave up 2 bombs but outside of that he got a routine out, a softly hit fly ball, a bunt attempt and a groundball that is a DP if hit to a slightly different spot. So you could say he got unlucky and could have been out of the inning with the lead easily and you could also say it’s largely deserved

What do you have against disabled people? Hellen Keller’s life was much more impressive than any of ours. Also that was Keller’s first HR allowed this year, wouldn’t exactly call it batting practice.

I’d see if Amaya could pull a Contreras/Schwarber and get some IF or OF work in. Carrying 3 catches is tough when Seiya is pretty locked in as the DH but none of the catchers are making a case that they should be the odd man out.

If you were the Cardinals in that situation would you have rather faced Seiya with runners on 1st and 2nd and 2 outs or PCA with the bases loaded and 2 outs? L/L matchup is preferred and sometimes PCA takes overeager ABs but his swing is so quick that it’s quite possible he turns on one for a grand slam basically what I’m saying is that you should definitely prefer the L/L matchup but PCA has burned teams in those situations this year.
